"Wait!" I call out, panting and majorly out of breath.

"Come on, I'm a whole level above you!" Marcus shouts down to me from the stairwell.

"Yeah, well not all of us have the stamina of a freaking horse!" I whine at him, before trudging slowly up the stairs.

I'm on the last set of stairs and Marcus holds out his hand whilst standing above me, pulling me up the last few steps.

I stop on one stair in front of him, crossing my arms and glaring, not quite believing what I've just seen to my right.

"There's a fucking lift!" I shout at him, my voice echoing across the parking garage.

"Whoops, didn't see that earlier" Marcus teases.

Anger must show on my face as Marcus pulls me towards him and leans down to plant a light kiss on my lips, I immediately forgive him.

"This view better be worth it" I mutter to him, legs shaking and my hair plastered to my head.

Marcus smiles, holding my hand and leading me to the edge, where I get a perfect view of Golden Gate Bridge, the sunset matching perfectly to the bright red.

"Okay, the stairs were worth it" I glance at Marcus, but he's already looking at me.

I roll my eyes and lean up to kiss him, with the sunset behind us.

"Is now a bad time to say I'm scared of heights" I ask, holding on to him.

"Is that why you haven't let go of me since we got here?" He replies.

I nod, accidentally looking down and backing away.

"Alright, let's get back to the ground now" I mumble, walking towards the elevator.

"Not taking the stairs?" Marcus jokes, but I pull him into the lift and kiss the hell out of him.
