It's Friday night and I'm on a date. Not a real one, a fake one.

Me and Wrench have to pretend to date so my creepy stalker ex will leave me alone, if that doesn't work I'll have to get him arrested, but I know he struggled with our breakup, so I can kind of understand him.

He's still a dick though, so that's why I begged Wrench to go on a fake date with me, reluctantly as we don't exactly see eye to eye.

We decided to go to a nice restaurant by the sea, sitting outside and drinking cocktails, eating nice meals and laughing.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Wrench asks me smirking, he's currently holding my hand on the table as my ex walked in and sat down a few tables across from us, poorly disguised.

"I will kick your ass" I say to him, glaring daggers, I hate fancy restaurants and I hate that Wrench gets the idea that I like him, because I definitely don't.

"Stop looking me like that, it's not very date worthy" Wrench says seriously, he seems to be taking this fake dating thing quite seriously, and he wasn't too happy when I told him the reason why we needed to do this.

I force a smile and stroke my thumb against his hand, looking into his blue eyes. He forgone his mask for me, which is something I know he struggles with.

"He keeps looking this way, you're going to have to do something more convincing" Wrench says to me.

I panic a little. What if this doesn't work. What if my ex never leaves me alone. Maybe I don't even want to leave him. Yes I do, he was a liar and a cheat.

"Wrench, I don't know what to do" I say nervously, taking a quick glance at my ex.

Shit, he looks like he might get up any minute.

"I'm going to kiss you, please don't punch me" Wrench murmurs before leaning forward and pressing his lips to mine, they're warm and taste like vanilla from the ice cream.

I'm so shocked that I pull away after a moment, eyes wide and my thoughts racing. I kind of liked it.

"Sweetheart, you're going to have to kiss me like you mean it"

I nod, blushing slightly before moving towards him, his face meets mine in the middle.

His hand comes up and gently grabs my neck, bringing me closer and tilting my head.

Jesus, this man can kiss.

I open my mouth as Wrench deepens the kiss, his mouth fitting perfectly with mine, I bite his lip gently and he groans.

I hear a chair scrape and heavy footsteps walk out, but I'm too busy enjoying this kiss to care.

After a few minutes of making out, I lean away, panting and very worked up.

"That was pretty good, I mean believable" I gasp out.

"Sweetheart, you loved every second of it" Wrench mumbles seductively.

Before I can argue, Wrench cuts in, "That little whimper you did? I could have taken you right here".

I blush, before getting up and walking to the exit, we've already paid luckily.

"Y/N, please, I didn't mean to say that, well yeah I did, but I meant it in a 'I really like you' way!" Wrench shouts, chasing after me.

"You like me?" I ask stunned.

"Yeah duh, this is the best fake date I've ever been on" Wrench admits.

I agree, nodding, "I like you too, reluctantly since you annoy the shit out of me".

Wrench smiles, and I can't help but to smile back.

"You're stunning and smart, even I know I'd be stupid to let you slip through my fingers" Wrench declares.

I hold my fingers to his lips, before kissing him again, the sea gently crashing into the rocks next to us, and a warm breeze brushes my hair out of my face, even the universe isn't interrupting us.

"Please stop kissing me like that though, I might have to retaliate" Wrench jokes to me, wrapping his arms around my middle as we walk down the street, back to my house.
