Wrench- British Companion

This imagine features minor spoilers from the Watchdogs Legion Bloodline DLC.

I follow on Wrench's heels as we sprint down the corridor, screeching to a standstill as a horde of MK 1 robots block our exit.

"Shit, can't you just, I dunno, tell them to bugger off?" I quickly say to Wrench, who shakes his head as he glances at me.

"I may have created these babies but they're not listening to momma." He replies, taking a step back.

"Please don't ever refer to yourself as their mother again." I laugh, grabbing his arm and pulling him into the first room next to us. It's just time too as an EMP wave comes from the robots.

I quickly hack the door shut as they begin to march their way towards the door.

"Motherfucker!" Wrench curses as I turn around...and see that I pulled him into a room full of MK 1's.

I quickly scan the room as Wrench pulls me down behind a half wall, blocking the new awakening robots from seeing us.

"There's an exit on the other side of the room!" I whisper as the familiar buzz of the robots coming to life sounds.

Wrench stares at me then nods, grabbing his gun from his jeans and cocking it as I do the same. Wrench suddenly grabs my hand, "If you get hurt I'll never forgive myself." He murmurs, giving my hand a squeeze.

"Good, I won't be too forgiving either." I say back, before rolling to the side and aiming at the closest robot.

I shoot the battery and it doubles over as it shuts down. I spin around as another robot aims for me, I shoot it a few times but miss as it deflects the bullets.

"Wanker!" I curse, but Wrench is already behind it, pointing a gun at its head. The metal explodes and I duck away as shrapnel flies everywhere.

There's no time to relax as two more robots begin to activate. I try to hack them before they can inflict damage, but one is already pointing a gun at Wrench who is tackling with the door.

"Get down!" I shout as I reach into my pocket and pull out one of my homemade EMPs. I throw it and it sticks to the MK 1, who is now turning towards me.

The exit door hisses and begins to open, so Wrench jams his body between the door and calls my name.

I sprint to him just as the EMP explodes, causing all the robots to overheat and explode. By body slams into Wrench's as I fall through the door, landing on him with an "oomf".

His arms wrap around me as the door closes, sealing us in...an elevator!

"Your deductive skills need some more work Sherlock." Wrench teases, using a terrible British accent.

I punch his shoulder and get up as the elevator begins to take us to the car park.

"It's not my fault your stupid ass plan didn't work!" I exclaim, holding out a hand as I pull Wrench up.

As soon as we're on our toes, he corners me to the wall and takes off his mask. "I love it when you get mad at me." He mumbles, leaning forward to kiss me.

I hold a finger to his puckered lips, "Not right now you twat, we're not safe yet."

He sighs so I quickly lean up and press a kiss to his cheek. He grins and slips the mask back on just as the elevator dings, revealing a lot of guards.

"It's never a dull day with you, is it?" I ask with a sigh.

Wrench chuckles as he reaches into his pocket for something explosive. "You'll learn to love it my British companion."

With that, he throws the device.
