"Heyyy anyone else feel their blood actually running through your veins?" I slur, snort laughing once I've said it.

Josh looses it an laughs with me, we both end up rolling on the floor right next to each other, giggling at the question.

"Ray, what the fuck did you give us?" I ask him, finally sitting up with difficulty and leaning against Josh, who is leaning against me with the same laziness.

"The druggies just had a little acid bath is all" He shrugs, winking at us all.

"I'm powering off now" Wrench drawls, lowering himself on the ground.

"Do you think the stars are watching us?" Josh asks me, which causes us to have another laughing fit, tapping each other and pointing at each others grins.

"Right, I think the kids need some downtime" Sitara coos to us, Marcus just chuckes before starting a conversation with Ray.

Sitara somehow hauls both me and Josh up, and we lean against her for support, she takes us to a nearby lit up area with blankets.

"Stay here and stare at the pretty lights, try not to trip out too much, there's no signal here at Swelter Skelter" She tells us before wandering off.

"Okay mom!" I shout, Josh giggles like a girl before suddenly stopping and staring at a neon pink flamingo light in front of us.

"Flamingoes used to be able to fly" Josh randomly slurs.

I lean into him quickly, the drugs overpowering my social etiquettes. "No fucking way, can you imagine a flamingo shitting on you, they ain't a seagulls" I smirk.

Josh's head slowly turns to face mine, until our faces are inches apart, I hold my breath, waiting to see what will happen.

"That's a lotta shit" Josh suddenly bursts out laughing, which once again makes me laugh.

We spend an unknown amount of time smiling and joking about literally nothing, until the drugs begin to wear off and I feel sleepy.

We've both somehow ended up laying right beside each other on the blankets, side by side, staring at each others face.

"Can I hug you?" I ask, my sleepy state overruling my knowledge of Josh's rules.

"Yeah, just bring a blanket with you" He replies, laying out an arm for me to snuggle on.

I do as he says, bringing a thick blanket from a pile and covering us both, before laying my head on his arm, nestling into his neck.

I feel his breath warm on the top of my head, and sigh. I think I hear Josh sigh too.

I feel Josh drape an arm over my stomach, holding me closer, and seconds later faint snores come from my head. Josh is asleep.

I giggle a little and close my eyes, until I fall asleep tucked into Josh's body.

--The Next Morning--

I slowly open my eyes, to see a familiar chest right infront of me, and find that my whole body is practically on top of Josh. I gradually begin to get up, wiping the sleep from my eyes and squinting to adjust to the daylight.

I feel a movement and see Josh do an adorable stretch of his legs, before he opens his eyes. His face is pure confusion.

"Where are we?" He asks, his personality back to normal.

"The middle of the desert" I retort, smiling.

"The last thing I remember is Ray giving us...." Josh tries to figure out, his eyebrows knit together in a frown.

"Yeah, then I think Sitara put us here" I mumble, also not remembering much.

"Sorry, I think I might have dribbled on you" I wince, pointing to a wet patch on Joshs top.

"That's okay, I liked having you near me" Josh smiles at me, before his face suddenly changes and he lurches to the left, vomiting.

"Yep, get it all out buddy" I say laughing gently, stroking his back as he retches.

Luckily I feel okay, just mega hungry, thirsty and tired.

When Josh is done, I stand up, helping Josh up too as he wipes his mouth.

"Okay, let's find food, water and then the rest of DedSec" I announce to him.

"Sounds good" He says, gently putting a hand on my back as he leads me back into the party and in search of the others.
