Fall has finally come to San Francisco as the cooler temperatures begin to settle, which also means my lips get chapped.

In honour of trying to look after myself better, I purchase a set of flavoured lip balms, trying a new one everyday, but recently I've noticed that everytime I put some on my lips whilst I'm in the hackerspace, Wrench always stares at me.

Well I think so anyway, his head always shifts in my direction as I pucker my lips and press the stick smoothly against my lips, before I press them together to smooth it all out.

I don't always let him get away with it, I'll turn around and ask "What?" with a glossy smile, and he'll just play it cool, shrugging as he responds with some flirtatious brush off like "Just admiring the view" or "Just thinking about why your lips aren't on mine right now."

One evening, as the sun sets in the city, me and Wrench are walking through a park, trying to find the perfect hiding spot so we can hack into a house across the street without the cameras catching us, when I pull out my lip balm and unscrew it.

Wrench sighs before suddenly plucking it out of my hand and using one tattooed hand to gently lift my chin up, so I'm staring into his mask.

My eyes widen, yeah we've flirted a lot, but we've never been this close.

"Pucker up buttercup" He deeply mumbles, as my mouth parts a bit.

Wrench lifts the balm up to my lips as he leans down to concentrate, slowly drawing the lip balm across my bottom and top lips. His thumb brushes just under my bottom lip when he's done.

We both stare at each other for a moment as he still holds my face, but then a cold breeze blows and I shiver.

Wrench nods and takes a step back, pocketing my lip balm, "I'm keeping this." He murmurs, turning away from me to pull out his laptop.

I stand there baffled, and slightly turned on.
