Jho, grandma called saying we should visit next week. Your aunt Amy is having a party and the whole family will be there. That way you can introduce Bea and Ellie to the family. My father said from the door of my room.

Oh..okay then..I laid Ellie in her crib as she slept. It was almost time to pick up Beatriz from work. I'm not picking her up everyday, just today since it's her first day.

I left my mom in charge of Ellie as I went to pick up Beatriz. I'm here parked outside waiting for her to come out. I saw some chicks walking out wearing the black polo. I then saw Kiana through the glass door walking towards the exit.

I heard someone knocking on my window really loud. It scared the shit out of me. I rolled down the window and saw Nico smiling.

Hey, Jho long time no see huh?

I chuckled nervously. Why hasn't Beatriz come out yet?

Yeah...long time. I turned my head back to the door but no Beatriz in sight.

Hmmm.. I was maybe thinking we could catch up sometimes? Maybe next weekend or something?

I turned to look at him. Is he serious? There's a reason why I didn't talk to him for weeks.

Nico was avoiding my eyes and rubbed his left arm with his right hand.

That's really nice but I can't... I turned to the door right when Beatriz was walking out and reached the car.

I actually have plans with my girlfriend...oohh..here she comes. maybe next time. Bye Nico. I rolled up the window and pulled out right after Beatriz shut the car door.

Uuughhh...Bea groaned as she laid down on our bed with her arms spread.

I'm so tired. Bea closed her eyes. I walked over to lay down next to her with my head on her shoulder as I hugged her torso.

I closed my eyes and sighed as I heard her heartbeat.

So how was your first day? I asked not moving on top of Beatriz.

It was okay. There was just lot of walking around and my feet are killing me.....Oh babe..and my Manager said she might promote me to waitress.

A promotion? But it's barely your first day.

I know that's what I said. I told her I preferred to be cleaning tables and earn my own promotions.

She turned to kiss my temple and ran her fingers through my hair.

I know she only wanted me to be a waitress so I could be out in front of her.
I'm not that dumb. Beatriz said.

I smiled and kissed her jaw as I snuggled deeper into her.

I don't know when and why but we ended up falling asleep the whole night like that. I didn't even give Beatriz dinner.

I felt Beatriz move me off of her to get up.

Babe, where are you going? I checked my phone and saw it was almost five in the morning. Beatriz was changing from her work clothes into some sweats and a t-shirt.

Got to go and eat something. I didn't eat last night and I'm starving. She said.

I got up as well and followed Beatriz to the kitchen.

I motioned for her to sit down. I started to make her ham sandwich.

Beatriz ate the sandwich in record time moaning as she ate it. Wow she really was hungry, my poor baby.

Thanks babe your sandwiches are the best.

Beatriz leaned back in her chair. I sat in front of her eating a banana.

Papa's said we're going to my grandma's next week, my aunt is having a party and he wants me to introduce you and Ellie to the family.

Oh no a party full of loud Batanguenos?

Hey, there not that loud.

I'm kidding..I can't wait to meet them.
Bea chuckled a little and closed her eyes again.

You'll love them, well you don't have too. I have annoying cousins but they aren't important. As long as my grandma loves you. Which I know she will.

Beatriz sighed and got up. I followed her to our room. It's only five in the morning her shift doesn't start till eight so we still have time.

I heard a ringing and looked up from where I was lying on the bed.  I saw Bea sit up and turn off the alarm.

Babe, do you want me to....

No...no ..no...Jho you sleep. She leaned over and peck my lips.

I mumured an okay and went back to sleep.
