Our car drop us off right in front of the meeting point we had combined with Riri, and there she was. Waiting for us, sitting on a little side walk looking into her phone.
"Riri" Shuri yelled as she looked around searching for us, a smile emerged as soon as she laid her eyes in us, getting up and running.
"Heyyy" she smiled hugging me.
"I'm starving!" I chuckled holding my body through the jacket Shuri had brought for me.
"Let's go then" she turned her back.
We followed her, while she went on and on about a certain professor she had had a fight with last week. Shuri was walking next to me, focused on what her friend was telling us, her hands tucked into her pockets, her head a little tilted back hiding from the cold.
We got to the restaurant and sat down at the table she had booked for us, right next to a heater, allowing my body to finally relax.
Dinner went perfectly normal, after a cup of wine, I was already feeling a bit warmer, and so was Shuri. There were moments when she would rest her hand on my leg, or allowed herself to look at me, her hand supporting her chin while a rambled about soils and freaking plants. The check came, as Shuri paid without us noticing it. The car was still in the same spot where it had dropped us, so we went back for it to dropped us of at a club Riri had told us about.
I walked out, noticing my legs feeling a little shaky the minute I stood up. Yup, the alcohol had started to kick in. I laughed at myself, ignoring the look Shuri gave me as she realized it herself.
We went in, the loud music echoed through the room, I could feel my heartbeat on the palm of my hands, people were dancing around us, clearly intoxicated and it showed.
Shuri grabbed my coat leaning to my ear "I'm gonna go put this way babe" she smirked turning her back and disappearing in the crowd."Soooo" Riri came a little closer with a smirk on her face "what's up with you two?"
I laughed at her question, shaking my head "nothing".
"Don't lie" she pouted "c'mon... it's noticeable Y/N"
"I don't actually know" I said trying to be a little louder so she could hear me "I actually have no idea" my shoulders shrugged.
"You two look good together. Just be aware that she is not in her best self" She said reating her hand on my shoulder letting a feeling of nauseus in me as the anxiety grew.
I smiled at her nodding, pretending I knew what she was talking about, as Shuri came back holding 3 drinks in the middle of her fingers.
"Here" she handed us the glasses taking a sip of hers not taking her eyes of me.
"To a great fucking night" Riri yelled raising hers and drinking from it.
After a couple of drinks, I knew I was completely drunk. There was no coming back now. My body moved to the rhythm of the room covered in sweat, as I tried to shake the hair off my face. Shuri was dancing behind me, her right hand holding me by waist, her body against mine, as the music surrounded us. She used her spare hand to move out some hair away from my neck, leaning her face into it, her lips skimming against my skin.
I took a deep breath, closing my eyes before turning around facing her with a smile on my lips.
She licked her lower lip looking at me."Are you gonna kiss me or not?" I whispered against her lips.
"Do you want me to kiss you?" She raised an eyebrow as her eyes stayed on mine.
"All the fucking time" I said. Or... the alcohol made me say it.
With that, Shuri's lips locked against mines, the this a little sloppier. Our tongues twirled around each other, as her hands grabbed my back, pushing me against her.
I knew everyone would probably be looking at us, but I didn't care at all. All it matter was her. Only her.
