I slowly opened my eyes, feeling the weight on my head, and the cold making my body tremble a little. Shuri was still asleep, her back still leaning against the wall, her arms gently wrapping me against her chest and her legs crossed on each other. I looked up at her, and my heart squeezed at the image of her. She didn't leave.
"Shuri" I whispered slowly pulling away from her as she opened her eyes.
"Are you okay?" she quickly asked looking at me.
"Yeah..." I smiled "You sleept on the floor.."
"So did you" she smirked closing her eyes again.
"C'mon...let's go to the bed" I said pulling her by her arm and getting her up from the floor.
Shuri slowly followed me to the bed, laying down with her hand on her face, and I involved her in my own arms "I'm sorry about last night" I whispered making her smile.
"It was fun" she smirked making me chuckle.
"Oh yeah... super fun" I rolled up my eyes "You should have come to bed"
"I wasn't gonna leave you on the bathroom floor Y/N" she sighed with her eyes still closed making me squeeze her body a little tight feeling her hands gently grabbing mine. I took a second to look at her, she seemed so peaceful, and comfortable, she was tired, but she was still the most beautiful human being on Earth.
"We're going to be late Y/N" Shuri yelled at me as I put down my chapstick on the bathroom sink.
After spending the whole day in bed, we decided to go get some dinner with my dad, Shuri insisted a lot, saying she hadn't spent any time with him.
"Chill!" I sighed walking into the room, finding her standing next to the bed and going through her beads before turning her head over me.
"You look so good" she smirked walking towards me and placing a kiss on my cheek.
"Thank you..." I said before turning my back and walking to the door "Weren't you in a hurry? Let's go!"
"You should've seen her cry stretching her arms to me" my dad was laughing telling the story about my first day at pre-school as I kept taking small sips of my water.
"Your daughter cries a lot" Shuri chuckled restind her hand on my leg under the table "We should take her to a doctor to check on it"
" ahahah you guys are hilarious" I mumbled rolling up my eyes.
"So Shuri when are you leaving back to Wakanda?" He asked making my stomach twirl a little remembering that she would have to leave eventually.
"I don't know yet actually" she looked down slowly putting a french fried in her mouth "I mean... I've only been here for a couple of days..."
"And are you going back with her?" He asked glancing at me with tenderness in his eyes.
"I don't know dad" I sighed feeling Shuri's eyes on me.
"What about your research?" he kept his eyes on me as I start to feel a little overwhelmed.
"Yeah... You should definitely go back to that" She interrupted slowly running her fingers on my leg.
"I know..." I sighed again.
"And you can always come back home whenever you feel like it..." she smiled "Or you are more than welcome to come visit anytime" Shuri glanced at my dad had a smile formed on his lips.
"I would love to visit" he said "How are things? Did you forgive her already?" He smirked at me.
"Dad" I sighed feeling my cheeks turning a little bit red.
"Actually Sir..." Shuri said clearing up her throat "I think we're half way there...I'm pulling every card I have...Your daughter is just really hard to please..."
I glanced at her raising my eyebrows a little annoyed by their conversation as I notice my dad shaking his head with a smirk on his lips.
"I've offered her a guitar...witch I know she loves...I met her friends, met you...I even took care of her last night while she threw up on the bathroom floor.." she chuckle.
"Oh jez... You guys went to one of those parties at her friends house didn't you "He frowned his eyebrows making Shuri laugh "I can't count the number of times I found her on the bathroom floor after these parties" he said.
I kept quiet, stuffing my mouth with food, as I felt my whole body freezing hearing them talk about me getting drunk and throwing up.
"Also.." she took a sip from her water running her tongue over her lips "I also said I love her last night you know" she said making me choke on my own food and looking at my dad who was carefully listening.
"You did?" he asked "Good for you Shuri!" he smirked.
"Thank you Sir.." she smiled shaking her head "But for some reason Y/N is ignoring it... She hasn't recognize it at all" she shrugged her shoulder making him laugh.
"That's rude Y/N" My dad glanced at me "I've taught you better than that"
"CAN YOU PLEASE STOP TEAMING UP" I said running my hand over my hair as they both started laughing with a michivious smile on their lips.
