Driving with Warren at the wheel tended to remind Joy of that one time she had stolen her father's car, believing that she was all ready to drive just because she got first three consecutive times in Mario Kart.
Luckily, this time it wasn't her a the wheel, and her father was no longer alive to send her without breakfast and dinner to her room three days straight.
All during that time it had been Tommy who had taken half of his breakfast to school just so Joy wouldn't starve, guess life was already training them for the amount of sharing they'd have to do during the apocalypse.

Suddenly, the truck they were riding in bumped over a previously run over Z (courtesy of Warren), making Joy scream out in happiness, even though she was nearly flung out of the bed of the truck.
What can she say? She was as light as a feather for human standards.
"And they say the apocalypse isn't fun!" Tommy gave her the classic 'shut up' look from above, while inside the truck she only heard some laughter.
Slowly, Joy began to hear the sputtering of a car, and they began to slow down until they were all parked on the side of the road.
Warren hopped out of her truck and began her trek towards their truck, giving Addy a high-five on the way, while Doc hops out as well, leaving Joy and Tommy to lean over the edge to watch.
"Alright, looks like you got a flat." Warren tapped the wheel with her foot while Doc went up to the bed of the truck to pull out some tool that Joy had all but ignored until then.
"I know how to change a tire." Tommy raised his eyebrows in question towards his friend, while Doc and Warren also started at her skeptically.
Joy would've said it hurt that they didn't believe her, but she knew herself. And that meant their questioning gaze was more than valid.
"Really?" Asked Warren, pretty much ready to hand over the whole situation to her. After all, they really didn't know much about the two teenagers and the range of their abilities.
Joy shrugged. "Not really, but I watched a lot of Bob the Builder as a kid, I know my way 'round a tool. How hard could it be?" Warren sighed, nodding back to Doc, so he'd step forward.
"Maybe next time I'll teach you how to actually change a tire." Joy smiled.
"Deal!"
"Heads up, we got company!" All heads turned towards two nearby bikers biking down the road.
When the entire apocalypse began, Joy always thought she'd end up on a motorcycle, after all the apocalypse was the perfect time to end up looking badass on a bike.
