Chapter 25-Winning the all valley

Now it was time for the final match.....the match that will determine who wins the tournament cobra kai or miyagi-do,so as I get ready to take my place on the mat the announcer comes out to rile up the crowd.

"What better way to cap off this exciting exhibition of karate than with a final match for the ages? Representing cobra kai, the queen cobra herself, Haley Silver!" Daryl yelled as the crowd cheered for me "coached by her senseis John Kreese and her father Terry Silver..... and representing miyagi-do karate,the bonsai badass,Samantha Larusso! Coached by her father and sensei,two-time all valley champion Daniel Larusso, who I've just been informed will be joined by Johnny Lawrence. Oh I stand corrected fellow two-time all valley champion, sensei Johnny Lawrence!" He shouted as the crowd cheers.

"Don't worry about them. You've been fighting all your life. Now it's time for all that struggle to pay off. Use all that fire inside you." Sensei Kreese said as he looked at me "yes, sensei." I replied as I nodded "hey. Good luck." Robby said as he walked up "head in the game, Haley." Silver said as he patted my shoulder.

As we make our way to the mat I had a look of anger on my face "ladies, good luck. Face this way. Bow. Face each other. Bow. Ready? And fight." The referee shouted as me and Sam both start to go after each other until Sam kicks me in the face sending me to the floor "point! Larusso. Score, one-zero." The referee yelled as I walk back to my side for advice on what to do.

"She's not using miyagi-do. She's fighting aggressive." I said as I looked at my dad and sensei kreese "then you get more aggressive. I've seen what's inside you. Let it out! Come one!" My dad said as he clapped at me as I walked back to the mat "ready? And fight." The referee said as I aggressively go after Sam finally landing a punch to her stomach "point, silver! Score one-one.....ready? And fight." The referee replied as we continued fighting until I land a kick to sam's stomach "point! Two-one, silver." The referee said as Sam made her way to her side.

Once we head back to the mat I look at Sam in confusion as she begins doing some weird moves, but I brush it off getting into my fighting position "ready? And fight." The referee said as I throw kicks and punches sam's way but make no progress "no point. Blocked." The referee said as we continue throwing punches and kicks until Sam lands a punch to my stomach taking me off guard as I step back "no point. Out of bounds." The referee shouts.

"What?" Sam questions "come on, ref! She went out after she got hit!" Sensei Lawrence shouts as me and Sam get back into position waiting for the referee to tell us to continue "ready? And fight." The referee says as me and Sam throw punches and kicks at each other but neither of us land a hit as we continue kicking and punching each other until Sam hits me in the chest "point, Larusso." The referee said as the score make's its way up to two-two.

"Scores two to two. Next point wins. Ready? And fight." The referee yells as I throw a series of combos Sam's way only for her to block them "that's a block.no point." The referee calls out as we continue sparring, but as Sam is about to kick me I grab her and knock her to ground kicking her as she blocks it, so she decides to pin me down but I counter react by accidentally elbowing her in the eye.

"Warning. Elbow to the face. Go to your senseis." The referee said "warning? That should be a point deduction!" Mr Larusso shouts as I get up off the floor "I didn't mean to. No, it was accident." I replied with a hint of panic in my voice "go to your senseis." The referee replies again as I walk to my side.

"She comes in like that again. Give her a shot to the other eye. She can't see, she can't fight." Silver said with a hint of rage "won't I get disqualified?" I questioned "why? She ran into your elbow. Do exactly what you just did, disguise it in a counter. Worst you'll get is another warning. Trust me. This ref will never end the match on a technicality." My dad replied "it was an accident. I don't need to cheat to win." I replied with fear in my voice.

"Since when do you disobey an order? Especially from your father." He questioned me "let her do what she wants. You've come this far. This is your fight now. So whatever happens, it's up to you." Sensei kreese replied as I send him a small smile and a bow of understanding as I make my way back to the mat.

"Ready? And fight!" The ref shouted as I circled Sam and throw a series of combos her way finally landing a kick to her stomach sending her down to the ground "point. Winner!" The ref shouts as he raises my arm and I stand back up "hey. You alright?" I asked Sam as she looks up at me with a look of confusion "what?" She questioned as the rest of my teammates grab me and lifted me up.

"What a match! What a match! Give it up for your first female champion, Haley Silver! And the winner of the grand champion trophy and still the baddest dojo in the valley, cobra kai!" Daryl the announcer yells as I look at my trophy in disbelief that I won. "Thank you. Thank you. We couldn't be prouder of our hard-won victory. And we're just as proud to announce we'll soon be opening cobra kai franchises throughout the entire valley, so everyone of you young men and women here can be part of our championship dojo and learn cobra kai's way of the fist!" Silver said as everyone cheered.

"Hey! Hey, victory party at my place. Queen cobra you coming or what?" Kyler asked me "yeah I just got grab my bag from the locker room." I replied as they left. As I entered the gym I heard people talking "I almost thought you were gonna back out of our deal a few times. You know what? You played it just right. No one suspects a thing. Money will be in your account tomorrow morning." Silver said as he is talking privately with the referee.
