Chapter 24-The all valley

Today is the day......today is the all valley tournament and as me,my dad,sensei kreese and the rest of the students head into the back waiting for the announcer to call our name.

"This next dojo took last year's title. But they're under new management. Can they regin supreme once more? And last year's runner-up. He may be wearing a new gi,but one things for sure, Robby Keene and his team are ready to strike! Hailing from Reseda, defending champions and still the most badass name for a dojo, here comes cobra kai!" Daryl the announcer yelled.

As we walked out from the back and into the arena and took our place. Shortly after the tournament began and it was mine and Tory's turn to fight each other for what ever reason. "I don't get why they're having us fight each other?" I questioned to myself as Robby walks up to me "just the luck of the draw, but no matter what happens, the fact that you made it this far is saying something." Robby replied with a smile on his face as he pulled me into a hug.

Soon after we split up and get ready for our match. "For our final quarterfinal match, we have a real snake fight. It's cobra kai versus cobra kai." Daryl said as me and Tory walked out onto the mat and take our positions "finally a worthy opponent....not gonna hold back right?" Tory questioned me with a smile on her face "nope." I giggled "good neither am I." She replied as we did a handshake "face me. Bow. Face each other. Bow." The judge said as we get into fighting position.

As our match starts Tory starts attacking me repeatedly as I block her attacks until finally she lands a punch to my stomach "point!" The referee yelled as my father and the crowd clapped and cheered "time out." Sensei kreese said as he calls me over "go to your senseis." The referee replied as I walked over to sensei kreese. "Are you fighting your friend or your opponent? I thought you wanted to be a champion." He said as I nod in understanding making my way back to the mat.

"Competitors, on your lines. Ready? Fight."The referee called out as I walk back to my side, once we begin I throw a kick straight to Tory's face knocking her down "point! On your marks." The referee said as we get back into position,popping my neck in the process "fight." The referee replied as I throw attack after attack after attack until I land a punch to Tory's chest sending her to the floor as she groans slightly.

"Fighters ready? Fight." The referee said as I walked up to Tory not even bothering to put my hands up as she tries to hit me but I sidestepped out of her way as she continues and I shove her s to the side "no point.....continue." The referee replied as Tory continued attacking me until I lightly kicked her back sending her stumbling "no point continue fighting." The referee said as I looked at Tory making a "come on" gesture towards her as she charges at me,but I use a technique that sensei Lawrence taught me called the flying tornado kick and hit Tory in the face knocking her to the ground.

"Point! Winner." The referee said as he picked up my arm as I walked back to my side "hey you did it.....you won congratulations." Robby said as he hugs me "thanks." I replied with a smile. "Hey, I'm sorry if I hurt you back there." I said as I walked up to Tory "are you kidding.....no way I knew you had it in you but damn.....you really are your father's daughter." Tory replied as she chuckles "well what can I say.....I learned from the best." I said.
