Chapter 37-The Apology

Today I was feeling very nervous....but I know this is something that I have to do in order to make up for what me and my father did to him.

As I get ready to head out I double check I have everything I need before I leave "okay phone,purse and keys....alright Haley you can do this." I said to myself as I leave my apartment locking the door behind me and head off to my desired destination for the day.

Arriving at where I think he might be I walk in finding no one here "hello....Mr Larusso are you here!" I shout but get nothing in return as I walk further in I see old pictures of a man who looked to very wise and caring "Haley." Mr Larusso said as he finds me in the dojo looking at his things "hi Mr Larusso." I awkwardly replied "what are you doing here?" He asked "I....uh- I came to apologize to you." I stuttered "for what." He questioned "everything.....everything that I did and said.....I'm really really sorry Mr Larusso and I hope that you can forgive me for it." I practically begged as he nodded.

"I forgive you Haley." He said "you do?" I asked with a puzzled expression "yes I do.....I know what that's like to feel powerful and in control so I understand what that's like.....so yes I forgive you." He replied smiling as I pulled him into a hug "thank you,thank you Mr Larusso." I replied smiling as he nodded "come....let's talk." He said as we both take a seat outside.

"Back when I was about your age.....I met your father and I thought he was the most coolest person I had ever met so I started to get to know him, and he offered to teach me a few moves and I agreed but little did I know that those were gonna be the worst days of my life." He said as we talk about his past with my father and him joining cobra kai. "So what happened with you and my dad?" I asked him " I thought he was helping me to get stronger, but in reality he was making my life a living hell." He replied with sadness prominent on his face.

"He did the same thing to you that he did to me." I said wondering if I was right "yeah....he did." He replied with a slightly shaky voice "that's why you were so persistent on telling me to get out of cobra kai." I mumbled "yes.....because I didn't want the same thing that happened to me to happen to you." He replied looking down at the ground "you were just trying to stop me from becoming something dangerous.....and I'm sorry I didn't see that before." I said with a hint of sadness.

"No it's my fault I should've warned you about how your father can be." He said as he turned to look at me "and I'm sorry for not listening to you.....I guess I was just so excited to finally have my father back that I let him cloud my mind." I replied "it's understandable....you were just trying to do the best you could to help me." I replied with tears brimming my eyes.

"Oh Haley." Mr Larusso said as he pulled me into a tight hug "thanks.....I really needed that." I said wiping my tears.
