13: Wooden swords

Hasine's POV 

"Anyone wants to get any early sword training in?" Rukia asked grabbing a couple of wooden swords and tossing the second one to me" sure, hey, what's your name?" I asked then called over to a brunette grabbing her own" Momo Hinamori, you can call Hinamori." She said" step right up. You look like you have some potential." I said.

"Why do I feel like you're going to floor me?" She asked," I'm only going to teach you the bare bones basics." I said," ok if you say so." She said then charged and swung her sword at me, I blocked shoving her away but she came around and tried again, all I did was slam the sword out of her hand and Renji caught it" wow, that was better than I expected but predictable." I said.

"How are you that skilled?" Hinamori asked," learned a lot in the 68 years when I was district 29." I lied" there's something you're not telling me." Hinamori said," I'll tell you after classes, too many people around to explain." I said softly then blocked a blow from Renji, our bout lasted for a minute before slamming the sword out of his hand.

"Ow! What the hell!?" A pale blonde yelped" sorry, what's your name?" I asked," Izuru Kira, do you mind not having a sword flying into my face?" He asked" sorry about that but paying attention to your surroundings is part of the job." I said," ow, that must've hurt." Rukia said," not helping." He said," let's see what you got." I said, he sighed walking up, holding his sword at the ready, and then attacking -

Aggressively at that like he has all the rage in the world bottled up inside him in one concentrated attack but I still managed to disarm him" anyone else?" I asked, "I'd like to take a shot." Hisagi said" are you nuts? She's going to whip yo ass in just seconds. She may not look it but she looks like a powerful SOB." A black-haired 19-year-old kid said," I'm going to try anyway, I got a small taste of it and I have no idea who emitted the massive reiatsu." Hisagi half lied.

"It's not my fault when you come crawling back to me and taking your words back." He said, Hisagi scoffed taking his place, and took a swing at me, I blocked and the bout lasted for nearly 2 minutes before I disarmed him" I see you're getting your swings in before the lessons start, good for you, it'll do you good in the future." The teacher said walking in and grabbing her own and swinging at me, blocking it and our bout started.

After a few minutes, it ended with me kicking her across the room" very good, you have great potential for being a rookie sniveling in the corner who will get their ass kicked over and over again like those guys have, good job." She said," yes ma'am." I said tightly" everyone, sit around the room except for you, we're getting right into unlike other teachers who waste 2 months on the bare bones and regular basics, we'll get to that later." She said.

'There any point to that? I don't think so.' I thought.

8 hours later, Hinamori's POV 

Grumbling I walked outside to get some needed fresh air, sword training was a blast when we got to see Hasine go all out while the teacher explained all of the moves, or tried to before being decked into the wall and catching the attention of the 3rd year class next door when a hand grabbed my arm" what the!? What's the deal Hasine!?" I demanded.

"Did you forget about this morning when I promised to tell you what my deal is?" Hasine asked," oh yeah, who else knows?" I asked," me, and prepare to have the piss scared out of you." Rukia said," oh great, now I have to deal with demons that might kill me." I said" wrong, have you not seen my blue eyes?" Hasine asked," that could be a lie but they blaze like fire and you're terrible at lying." I said.

"Yeah I know, I grab my arm and feel guilty," Hasine said, 5 minutes later we got to the back of the barracks and went around back" ok, can you tell me now?" I asked" bad patience, let's get this over with." She said," will you shut up and get to the chase?" I asked" ok, but I'm only stating a fact on virtue, if you're wondering how I'm so skilled I literally had eons of sword practice, Iba was right, I am powerful." She said.

"Are you saying you're the one that emitted that massive reiatsu and made countless people pass out? Forget I said that, what are you?" I asked" in the next 135 years war will threaten Creation with eternal darkness, alone you will fall and die like pathetic weaklings, with me by your side you stand victorious. I'm an archangel sent here to help you out in that future battle, my name is Ila but you call me Hasine." She explained.

My eyes widened and I paled" is she legit?" I asked," yes she is, she was killed by a cult member to get her power back with an angel blade, she was made a fallen angel for 20 years and now here she is and if you're wondering no she is not a messenger of the apocalypse, that's 2 of her friends' job but not for a long time." Rukia said.

"Thanks for leaving me in the dumps, I'll keep your secret but Iba knows you're powerful off the bat, just how powerful are you, Yamamoto's level?" I asked," way above it but close." Hasine said," oh hey don't go dropping the bombshell that he's one of you." Rukia said," Michael said it himself last night, he is a fallen angel right after getting to my level and a master of using fire." I said.

"Dammit! Wait, you said he was here last night? Oh great, we're doomed." I said," no, they're our allies in that future battle." She said " are you saying you didn't start out as an archangel, you evolve into one? How does that work?" I asked.

"When an angel is born they have 7-9 ft wings, they can't fly and are usually the trumpeters when his Holy Majesty is coming and are the last ones coming onto the battlefield and if they prevail they evolve into a low-grade butterfly angel and able to fly but like a clumsy butterfly just hatched from the cacoon, repeat that 2 more times then they evolve into the riskiest stage.

The skull wing angel where they have to hold back their temptations, feelings, and urges, if they fall into doing that then they become fallen angels and devolve into ugly monsters and are cast out, if they prevail they evolve into archangels, Yama just did that and had a one-man party and ended falling himself and turning into the monster he believed himself to be, a human child at the age of 9 and was cast out." Hasine explained.

"When did this happen?" I asked," 7000 years ago." She said" ok shut the front door, this is crazy, so you were a pathetic little one probably bullied to your rank today, that's rough, you were a pawn back then." Rukia said" basically." She said," I'm going inside, I need to process this, I feel like my head is going to explode." I said and left knowing everything just got live from this day forward.
