38: comfort and fun

10 days later, Jun's POV

The last week 1/2 has been insane, visits from the headmaster and some shinigami that wanted more information on the extent of the beatings for the trial to take place, through it all it was painful just to talk about it but my friends comforted me through it all and driving them away from topics hit straight home and answering their questions for me.

Sitting on the bed I was just gazing at the spot where I was beaten, my vision blurry as a woman interrogated my parents before I passed out from both the pain and reiatsu, her power was terrifying and that was only a little bit of it.

Flashback

My eyes fluttered open, the room still blurry until my vision cleared, and looked around, I'm in the infirmary and tried to sit up when a hand rested on my shoulder" lay down, you need rest." The doctor gently said," how long was I out?" I asked," 2 days, your parents did a number on you, I'm sorry if I hit a nerve but how long was that going on?" He asked.

"Ever since my parents found me and brought me home, I was little more than a punching bag to satiate their anger, what's going to happen to them?" I asked," they've been arrested thanks to the girl that dragged them to the headmaster's office and they spilled everything, they will be going to prison for either life or will be executed, either way, you are free from those demons." He explained.

"Can I see the woman who saved me?" I asked" Ms. Fahad, you can come over now." He said, looking over I saw a woman with black hair and red streaks running through it, she had piercing but gentle blue eyes" you're the one who relieved me of my parents? Thank you." I said," what they did to you was horrible and if people like them are allowed in here then there's something wrong." She said," what's your name?" I asked" Hasine and you're Jun." She said.

I nodded" my friends helped me through my trauma but after that I'm broken." I said," it'll stick with you for the rest of your life, I can't help with your memories but Kiri and one of Jack's friends will be able to help you out." She said," thank you." I said, Hasine nodded and left.

Flashback ends

"Hey! Are you good?" I looked up to see a guy I assumed is Jack asked" yeah, I'm fine, I was just stuck in a memory, add that to the short list of good memories." I said," there are more to be made, you will be moved out of this building and transferred to another one tonight." Jack said as  my gaze drifted back to the dark spot" pack up, we're going to district 6 for the weekend so you can get some help from one of my friends." Jack said.

"Do I take my sword with me?" I asked," yes, your zanpaktou spirit should be born at this point but won't tell you their name until you're ready." Jack said," our sword spirits haven't told us their names either." Aaron said," so when are we leaving?" I asked," after school tomorrow." Jack said" thanks for all of this." I said," you're welcome." Aaron said. 

Grabbing my bag we went outside to see Hasine holding up her zanpaktou, flat side across her upper body, and brought her hand over the blade before swinging it to the ground, water rose out of the ground in its wake as she brought it to the sword up is when I saw the target" what is she doing?" I asked.

"She's practicing her Shikai in the water state, she showed me 3 days into spring break, when your zanpaktou spirit is born she can help you figure out its abilities, 10 people tried to imprint on her sword and failed, one of the small abilities left is the ability to read other zanpaktou after establishing a dialogue, she showed Iba's water half of his zanpaktou and soaked a Shinigami from the 11th division last spring as a prank," Jack explained.

I snorted watching as she blasted the target and destroyed it, the water coming back to her she turned around, the water swirling around the sword as she pointed it at me and then above my head, looking up I saw a blob of water right above me, I dropped my bag, eyes wide' well, crap.' I thought and ran for it" that's not going to help! The water will follow you!" Jack yelled," I don't care!" I yelled.

I didn't get much further when the blob dropped over my head and soaked me, shrieking I skidded to a halt" it wasn't my idea! It was Kiri's!" Hasine yelled snickering, as if on cue she came out of the barracks, took one look over, and shrugged, grumbling I started stalking toward her and then took off charging" get back here!" I yelled," that's not happening!" Kiri shot back.

Hasine's POV

Coming out of Shikai I grinned a little bit" what happened" Renji asked" didn't you crash the conversation Kiri and Hasine were having last night? She had the idea to have her practice the water state Shikai and when she comes out she would soak her." Izuru said," I didn't stick around." Renji said.
