70: Divine Reveal

March 15th, 1874, Hasine's POV

Laying in bed I sighed heavily unable to sleep for some reason ever since I laid down from a headache that was followed by a feeling in my stomach that something is coming. 

Closing my eyes they shot open seconds later when screaming was heard along with the howls from hollows, quickly getting up I looked around the place, everyone else is asleep" I got to go.' I thought racing outside and toward the screams and howls, when I got there an entire crowd of 1st years that came back from a party are knocked and injured from the hoard of hollows at the center of it all.

I knew that if anyone came out and tried to fight the hollows they'd die when the hollows set their sights on me for their next meal, I came to the conclusion that I had no other choice as I lifted myself off the ground to keep from incinerating the students by accident, lifting my arms a little when the hollows started stalking toward me, 

Narrowing my eyes I shook my head" killed at 20, sent thy here, anyone who gets in thy way shall bathe in hellfire!" I recited, starting to glow I then explode out with energy.

Normal POV

The first 12 hollows running at Hasine were purified as soon as she exploded in a column of energy that blew forth from the archangel commander, inside the energy Hasine's hair comes undone, wings materializing on her back spread high and her outfit seemingly dissolved into pure white baggy robes.

Several seconds later the light faded revealing the angel in its wake along with an extensive burn on the ground, the sword appears without a word as soon as Ila touched the ground, wings spread wide again, the sword erupting into flames and the angel took flight 3ft off the ground" it's me and you, come at me." She said, her voice menacing and not to be trifled with but the hollows will be hollows and charged.

Ila disappeared in a huff, the hollows stopped wondering where she went when all of them were incinerated from behind by a wave of hellfire that spewed from the sword. The weapon vanished and the angel flew to the middle of all the 1st years knocked out on the ground, landing she fell to her hands and knees, her wings touching the ground, and strings of healing energy shot out in all directions to heal the injured.

3 minutes earlier, Hisagi's POV

Howling and screaming were heard through the walls, I jolted up along with my housemates from district 29" what was that?" One of the asked" hollows, a lot of them, I can sense it." I said," then let's go." Chang said and we went running out of the barracks but when we got outside we were blown back when an explosion went off followed by a shockwave with a shout of surprise waking everyone else up.

"What the hell was that?" The third guy asked" everyone stay here! We don't want anyone else getting into danger!" I yelled and we took off running toward the hollows praying that it wasn't too late when we felt an intense heat shoot out and hit us, we stopped dead in our tracks" what's going on? Why does the fire feel so much hotter?" Chang asked.

"From what I sense it's hellfire," I said when the air cooled down and we continued but we didn't sense any hollows from that point on, they were gone and we were just wondering how's that even possible, it's only been 2 minutes unlike literally 4 seconds before when we could feel the hollow reiatsu. 

Getting to where the 1st years there laying on the ground knocked out and in front of us the ground is black from what looked to be a giant fireball but somehow no one was burned or simply gone, the second thing we noticed was that they were all under a strange golden light to heal any injuries when Chang punched me in the arm" ow! What was that for?!" I asked.

He didn't answer, following his gaze to see what he was looking at to see a figure in white on its hands and knees plus wings on the ground, clearly the source of the healing light, an angel is in our midst when it stood up revealing the vague shape of woman, her hair was the color of blood like Hasine's red streaks in her hair when she turned around, her eyes glowing pure white but her features looked familiar.

That's when everything over the past 8 years until today came rushing back and it all clicked as the guys dropped to their hands and knees in fear with me as the exception, wide-eyed when her eyes stopped glowing revealing grey eyes, but instead of Hasine's playfulness they hold authority, a commanding presence that screams to be obeyed and if not then I don't want to know what'll happen when she smirked.

"Do you recognize me?" She asked, at this point, I was about the pass out myself from hearing Hasine's voice, this is who she really is!" Hasine!? This is what you are!?" I demanded," I've been giving you hints ever since we met until today, did they click?" She asked," yeah they just did, and wow, are you a commander or something because of the presence you exude?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm the 2nd cmdr of the divine armies, I told the others and I'm here to help the Gotei 13 with a threat, you fight alone you will fall and the worlds are going to be destroyed, heaven will overflow with souls meaning the end of creation as we know it, I was sent here to help with that very threat, my real name is Ila but please keep calling me Hasine." She explained.

The glow wore off, and the students are healed but had yet to wake up as she reverted to her human form just as the doctors came rushing out to treat the students having no idea whatsoever that Hasine was the one to heal them before taking them away" when was the last time you flew?" I asked," I haven't flown in 94 years and I need to practice since I've been grounded for so long." She said," so were you using hellfire to purify the hollows?" I asked.

"The rest of them, yes, the 1st 12 were purified when I was transforming." She said," that explains the shockwave." I said as the guys walked off, utterly speechless" the others know, do Jun, Adelaida, Capri, and Adrian know?" I asked" I do now and I saw everything! That was insane!" Capri yelled from behind one of the barracks, everything that just happened tonight made it everything else all the more interesting.
