152: Kido practice

"If banshee breaks in here, what can we do? I still have an asauchi?" I asked," I can teach you some kido spells, Hasine can teach you the same since she's the master over all of them." Hinamori said," do you want me to get a target?" Ikkaku asked," that would be preferred." Hinamori said and he ran off.

Hasine wandered off and came back with a huge beam of wood and put it into the ground before getting a few more" this can be your target before Ikkaku gets back, shall we get started?" She asked, I nodded and she started teaching me each hado spell before we got to hado #33" ok, for hado #33 Sokatsui, hold out your hand like this." Hinamori said holding her hand out and pointing her index and middle fingers together.

I watched as she said the incantation as she emitted her reiatsu"...hado #33, Sokatsui." Hinamori said and a beam of electricity shot out and severely burned the wood" now you try." Hinamori said, I nodded doing the same motion with my hand, and said the incantation"...hado #33, Sokatsui." I said and shot the electricity but it didn't hit the mark, it just exploded when it hit the ground" that was a good first try, try it again." Hinamori said.

Nodding I tried it again and by the 5th time I finally hit the board of wood and nearly put a hole in it when Ikkaku got back" what's the point of me getting this when you're using wood boards?" He asked," so no one gets injured while she trains." Hasine said," makes sense." He said putting the target down in the center.

"Alright, now aim at the target. Hado #33 Sokatsui." Hasine said and the electricity came out putting a crater in the center of the target and telling me she can make it considerably more devastating and can certainly kill several high-ranking hollows in a single hit as I took aim" hado #33 Sokatsui." I said and shot off the electricity at the target and put a hole in the crater on the first try" awesome! We can continue our kido practice when we get back." Hinamori said.

"Hey, can I see how you fired the jakuho?" Iemura asked," sure, why are you asking?" Hasine asked," when you were prepping it to fire it took you a little longer and I swore I saw it change from red to gold." He said, Hasine nodded and held out her hand" hado #31 jakuho." Hasine said, an orb of energy materialized in her hand and it indeed turned gold before she fire it" so I wasn't seeing things but why is gold?" Iemura asked.

"Have we been doing it wrong?" Chojiro asked," no, you haven't it was just incomplete since you needed to wait a few seconds more before firing." Hasine said, Hinamori hummed" I'll make a note of that, now you try." She said" hado #31 Jakuho." I said and the shot was fired and put a hole through the makeshift wall where the burn mark was" so is there a true form of danku as well?" Kiyone asked.

"No, there isn't but if you want to extend it you have to use your reiatsu while you're touching it, that's how we survived one of Kol's explosions while dishing out all of our power to reinforce or we would've been dead." Hasine said," how much did her power increase with each explosion?" Iemura asked.

"With each explosion, her power increased by 30 fold, by the 7th one we would've been crushed by the shockwave alone if we were a few miles away, in a few years her power will surpass ours and make her way up." She explained," something tells me she will replace you as commander in the long run," Iemura said.

"We know, Michael told her that just before I left and she was in shock that the 2 of us are the most powerful archangels other than Azaria and she can't even imagine that she's even more powerful than the 3 of us until the trainees pointed out that they can feel their power from the school and expected it saying she needs to think about it," Hasine explained.

"How many angels are born with immense power?" I asked," every 100000 years an angel is born with that power like Michael, Azaria, and I." Hasine" how old is Kol?" I asked" 2 billion years old and she was born a few years after that 100000-year timespan." Hasine said" I nodded" so you're on the road to retiring." Ikkaku said.

"Not for a VERY long time, there are still the 5 evolutionary stages she has to go through, some angels aren't born with wings, and when they come into power it's only a matter of time before they acquire them if they're worthy, Kol is one of those angels out of a couple of hundred.

Only a few of them actually become warriors like Aziraphale, he's a seraph but with not as much power as the others do but still became a warrior, a guard, and then demoted to the filing rooms," Hasine explained.

"What are the evolutionary stages of the angel?" I asked" trumpet blow, the 3 stages of the butterfly angel, the riskiest stage being the skull wing angel and finally the archangel." Renji said' so everyone goes through evolution, even them.' I thought looking back at the hole, at least a few questions about heaven were answered.
