129: New kid

Akon's POV

Walking into the room I'm met with all of the vice-captains, some of the 5th seats, and some lower-ranking Shinigami I've never seen before and I have no idea who they are, I gulped nervously stepping inside" hey guys, my name is Akon, I'm the new vice-captain of the 12th division." I said.

The entire room quieted down, and at that moment when I saw the woman with black hair and red streaks running through her hair the most intimidating of them all" how old are you?" She asked," I-I'm 14 ma'am." I said," you look to be my age, my name is Yachiru Kusajishi." The pink-haired girl said.

"No she's not, she's possessed by the 11th division captain zanpaktou spirit Nozarashi and she's 400 years old, Nozarashi is slowing down her aging process, I'm Hasine Fahad but there is a girl around your age in the 8th division." She said," what do you mean Yachiru is possessed, ma'am?" I asked.

"You don't have to call me ma'am, once you get to know me I'm easygoing," Hasine said" you still haven't answered my question, what do you mean Yachiru is possessed? Is she possessed by a demon?" I asked," no, Nozarashi felt lonely to the point she possessed Yachiru when she was a baby and Kenpachi just considers his sword to be an extension of his arm." Hasine said.

"You mean Zaraki Kenpachi? Do you want me to try and tell him?" I asked," no, he won't believe you at all, I'm Ikkaku Madarame and that's Yumichika Ayasegawa." Ikkaku said," I got that loud and clear, you guys don't seem to be in the top 5 seats." I said," we're not, my name is Jun Araia, that's Kiri Asoka, Jack Rene, Aaron Makinen, Adrian Pavlova, Capri Milano, and Adelaida Andreivich." Jun said.

"So, what's your story?" I asked," um, her life was a living hell, her parents beat her and blamed her for dying before she ran away from it." Kiri said softly, I cringed" I'm sorry for asking, but I'm guessing the 7 of you are Hasine's friends?" I asked," yeah we are along with Renji Abarai, Izuru Kira, Rukia Kuchiki, Momo Hinamori, Shuhei Hisagi, and Iba Tetsuzaemon." She said.

"So is half of everyone in the room her friends?" I asked," everyone here actually." Ikkaku said, I hummed" are you sure she won't backstab you in the future?" I asked" excuse us?! If she did that then she'd fall from grace." A snow blonde woman said, I cocked a brow" what do you mean to fall from grace?" I asked," she's an archangel, she's the 2nd cmdr of the divine armies." Jun said.

"You're an angel?! I'm so sorry for what I said! Please forgive me!" I yelled frantically but all she did was put her hands together to make something, taking her hand away from the one sitting palm side up to reveal an ice ball, walked over, and dropped it on my head, I yelped" I forgive you." She said," what was that?" I asked wiping the ice off my head" that was a snowball." She said simply.

Looking around the room the others are shaking their heads, and some of them are smirking" something tells me that's not the full extent of what she can do with ice." I said.

"When she's in ice state Shikai she can control ice and the snow in its wake, take the sword out of the ground, and the ice immediately disintegrates and what she does is twirl her sword, picks up the snow, and send that off after someone and it will follow you until it catches up and covers you in snow," Kiri said, I paled.

"Can I try and shunpo to avoid it?" I asked," you can but the snow will change direction on a dime." Iba said snapping his fingers" I never saw her training with her ice state Shikai before but now that I've said it I feel like I'm going to see it soon." Chojiro said," what have you been doing?" I asked.

"I come in and try to convince her to help me spread western culture but she stops me and keeps saying it's already leaking in since people from all over the world come here and some become soul reapers, where did you guys come from again?" Chojiro asked.

"Aaron came from Finland, I'm French, I used to live in New Orleans, Adelaida came from Russia, Aaron came from Finland, Adrian came from Romania and Capri came from Italy," Jun said, Chojiro nodded.

"Ok, Aaron asked me if I wanted to come to Little New Orleans in district 6 when construction is complete in 18 years and I jumped on it, but I'm still thinking of going to Little France in district 30 South." He said and we continued talking, I think I just found a roomful of friends and they're all crazy.
