87: Couch Potato

Scratching my head I yawned heavily walking into the office to finish off a few documents and then going back to the barracks and go to sleep until the morning when I noticed a pair of feet hanging over the armrest of the couch,' who's that?' I thought going over to the back of the couch I leaned on the back and saw a ginger-haired woman sleeping like a rock on the couch

'This isn't your bedroom.' I thought" hey, wake up." I said, she didn't even respond, exhaling heavily through my nose I gently grabbed her shoulder and shook her violently for a few seconds but even that didn't get her to wake up.

Geez, what the hell gets her to wake up?!

After a couple of minutes, I then smirked, and walked over to a bucket, making a cold water ball I was about to put it in the bucket when I sensed Yachiru hopping through the window" what are you doing?" She asked," waking our local sleepy head up, does she sleep like this all the time?" I asked.

"Basically, how'd you make that water ball?" Yachiru asked," there's moisture in the air, moving my hand back and forth gathers the water in the immediate area to me." I said then poured the water into the bucket, went back to the couch, and poured it over her head, jolting the ginger awake.

"What the hell was that?!" She asked tiredly" I could've come to you in the 10th division to meet you." I said tossing the bucket to the floor" I didn't want to wait, how'd you get the bucket of water so fast?" She asked, moving my hand back and forth a water ball formed and her eyes widened" how are you making that? what are you?" She asked.

"I thought you would've been eavesdropping on the captains meeting to get the answer 4 months ago or Yachiru would've told you," I said," I was tempted but I never bothered, now what are you?" She asked, dismissing the water ball I put my hands on the wall of the couch and leaned on it with my weight.

"I'm an archangel, I'm here to help you with a future threat, I'm the cmdr of the divine armies, my name is Ila but you have to call me Hasine to keep the lower ranks guessing on what I am. I'm also on in a few that can control all 5 elements, 6 if you count ice." I explained" that explains the water ball but not when captain Shiba came back and his entire back was soaked and speckled. I'm Rangiku Matsumoto." She said.

"Probably because of this," I said putting my hands together and making a snowball, and showing her, Rangiku's eyes widened" that's puny, the one thrown at him must've been huge." She said as I made it disappear" I can make varying size snowballs, the one I threw at him was 3ft across." I said, she spluttered" I don't want to be on the receiving end." She said," you never know." I said, Yachiru giggled" I'd want to see that." Yachiru said.

"You will." I said," I guess you can also control ice with your zanpaktou?" Matsumoto asked," yes along with the sword I was given back when I started training." I said," I'd really like to hear those stories, maybe tomorrow night we can go and get some drinks and you can tell them." She said," I don't drink, you'll find out why tomorrow." I said.

"Alright, let's meet at the Shoguns palace when you finished work," Matsumoto said and left" can I come too?" Yachiru asked," no, you're 8, you're not even close to drinking age, I won't allow it." I said" ok." She said and jumped out the window.
