159: Crazy mood

Nemu's POV

Last night we were invited to stay a few nights with Rangiku at her place but something feels like some people are going to let loose some pent-up energy, walking into the kitchen I found Hasine sitting at the island, slumped over and plugging her ears as faint tapping of someone's feet is heard" who's tapping there feet?" I asked.

"Isshin, he's been doing that for the last hour before you came downstairs." She said," you look angry." I said," no, she's annoyed since he had done that once before when she was 10 days out of the academy 39 years ago but for 2 straight hours before she threw a massive snowball to shut him up, no I'm kidding, she actually did that." Renji said snickering.

My eyes widened when we heard spluttering, looking over we saw one wide-eyed Nanao" how big?" Nanao asked" 3ft across." Hasine said," I thought you could only make small ones, not ones that are ridiculously huge." Nanao said.

"I can make varying-sized snowballs, back when I was training I wanted to start a snowball war but I didn't realize the skill of the ice user I pegged with a snowball until 10 minutes later when I was hightailing it out of there." She explained," are you going to do it again?" I asked," no, I don't want to destroy Rangiku's kitchen or the living room," Hasine said straightening up.

"How has Kol's training been going so far?" I asked" it's been going well and last month I taught her how to fly when in the midst of combat, she's not ready to fly through the forest yet but she did well with the pillars I erected but demons will play dirty and I had Oziri demonstrate this but abruptly erecting a fire pillar and she crashed into the mud pit since we were in North Rukongai, that was nearly 4 weeks ago." Hasine explained.

"How did her friend Azine react when she came back with faint mud stains on her robes and soaking wet?" Renji asked," she wasn't that happy but she accepted it knowing this will happen when flight training but she will fight demons, vampires, ghouls, and the occasional hollow." Hasine said," vampires don't exist." Renji said.

"They do exist, they live outside of small towns off the grid all over the living world, that's how the demon hunters down there help us out, they hand the local Shinigami patrolling the area their reports but there almost never handed to the higher-ups, they just explain the reports to Yamamoto or their captain." She said, Renji nodded when an even more annoying beat started.

"You've got to be kidding, why does he want to rile us up like this?" Nanao asked," if Kenpachi was down here he'd want to fight him to end the beat." Toshiro said," is there a bucket anywhere I can use?" Rukia asked," there's one in the closet." Hasine said, she went to the closet before coming back to the kitchen and filling it up with water when Hisagi came into the kitchen massaging his temples.

"Why does that beat have to be so annoying?" He asked," it's his way to rile us up." Renji said," so what is Rukia doing?" Hisagi asked" going to stop his beats." Nanao said," by pouring water on him?" He asked then snorted, after several seconds Rukia went to hand the bucket to Nanao who took it and silently walked out" so how do you know the captain is in a crazy mood?" Renji asked.

"A glint in their eyes, when you sense that their reiatsu or in Isshin's case trying to be as annoying as possible, it's simple." Hasine said when we heard Isshin's shout of surprise along with the other's laughter" can you stop with the music please!?" Nanao demanded," what about Unohana when she gets into a crazy mood?" Renji asked," I don't know." Rukia said.

"I do, when she's hanging out with either Yamamoto or Shunsui and Ukitake and looking bored, stay well away when that happens, Iemura didn't know and ended up being covered in whipped cream when he found her," Isane said when the door slammed shut, our eyes widened then fell apart laughing" oh god I'd want to see that!" Renji snorted.

"Uh, yeah that happens every 70 years so when 1921 rolls around and again in 1991," Isane said," has Kiyone, Sentaro, or Kaien ever seen it when Kaien was still alive?" Rukia asked," we have, their evil geniuses, and when they get together with Yamamoto and are in a pranking mood, please take the next assignment to the living or don't go anywhere near them at all." Sentaro said" that bad?" Isane asked.

"Yes, the last time they got together they set up a nasty surprise for all of the divisions and that was 350 years ago from what I heard," Kiyone said," did you hear it from Ginrei?" Hasine asked," he was captain back then when he told me, did he tell you?" Kiyone asked.

"No, Yamamoto did, before he fell he was a prankster, often helping out Gabriel and reigning hell on the filers and the governors after planning for several years, rumors about that went around the armies like wildfire and putting several skull wings to the test to not fall into temptation," Hasine explained," you know all about it?" Isane asked.

"Yeah I do but the rest of the pranksters those 2 brought together have been doing their thing and haven't pulled a big prank since before his fall, Unohana, Shunsui, and Ukitake are the new prank squad," Hasine said," is Isshin trying to start a prank war or join the group?" We looked over to see a slightly amused but mostly annoyed Toshiro.

"No, he got pranked by those 3 back in 1851 and wants payback," Rangiku said walking in and shaking her head, I hummed" that's going to be interesting." I said," yes think, I never thought I would see something like that." Renji said.
