15: Prank fail

Komamura's POV

It's been a day since I pulled the prank on Hinamori as I silently walk up to Tosen, hiding my reiatsu from his senses I dropped my hands on his shoulders" hey." I said, he shouted shrilly bolting around to punch me but I easily dodged" what is wrong with you?!" He demanded," just messing with you, why are you so uptight?" I asked.

"You could've let me know where you're coming from." He said," yeah I'm sorry but I'm going to need your help." I said" for what that prankster told you and now your victim is hunting you? I believe in justice, not helping someone who committed a crime or a prank, they're basically the same prank hell that's coming for you, ask someone else like that Toyhiro guy." Tosen said.

"Have you spent like 5 minutes with him in kido class? He's insane." I said," oh trust me, he may be nuts but I've heard others explain the nature of pranks, and his victims are lost on how to get him back." Tosen said, a grin on his face" how easy is it to work with him?" I asked" pretty easy, you can find him in the lab either making pranks or hanging out with friends." Tosen said" thanks!" I called running off in the direction of the lab.

Hinamori's POV

"Well, things just got complicated." I said," told you, tried to warn you back in the barracks but you weren't listening." Hasine said" great, now what are we going to do? Toyhiro is a pranking genius and excels in kido class. Mission impossible." Renji said," not that, just make him fall into a trap and restrain his arms so he can't do kido spells." Hasine said.

"Hello, we only just learned the bare basics and don't know any advanced spells, what are we supposed to do?" Renji asked" hey, do you feel her presence?" I asked," no, I don't she must've trained from when she was still alive to conceal her reiatsu." Renji said," I never touched a spirit and knew my reiatsu was high from the start and here I am." Hasine said conjuring up a little bit of her power.

Peeking around the corner then shot it, a startled shout ran out and a few seconds later dragged the dark-skinned man over and restrained by her power" what the hell is this?! Kido?!" He demanded," no, that was a little bit of my power restraining you like a lasso." Hasine said letting him go" don't go running after your friend to warn them that we're giving them hell or you're getting the same treatment." I said.

"Ok Ok, I won't, what'll happen?" He asked," things are going to get messy and a little stinky so stay out of the barracks, which one is it?" Renji asked," building 34 on the other side of the school grounds, 30-50 are all the 6th yr barracks." He said," thank you for the info." I said grinning as he rushed off.

8 minutes earlier, Toyhiro's POV 

"Hey, can you help me out with something?" Looking up I saw Komamura jog into the lab" what do you want? I'm busy right now." I said," can you help me out in stopping a couple of people from getting back at me and reigning prank hell?" He asked, I grinned.

"Sure thing, what happened?" I asked," pulled the oldest trick in the book, water bucket poured over Hinamori's head and now she has the help of Renji Abarai, you know the rest." Komamura said," he's just a beginner in the world of pranking, I'm a master pranking around here if you hadn't read the rap sheet the other cadets wrote the last yr." I said.

"Do your worst." Komamura said," sorry if I were to do that then I'd get expelled, let's shoot that down a peg." I said," I never thought it would be that far but you're a genius in pranking, lead the way." Komamura said," shut up with the bull crap or I'll help the freshman since you're not all that creative, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings." I said," no harm done but it's true." Komamura said.

I grumbled, "I have friends in the science club, it's to be expected, anyway, let's get to planning, everything will happen tomorrow after classes are over, I'll booby trap building 34 when they ultimately set up in there with kido traps." I said," they come in handy, so tell me the little pranks I can do on Hinamori and Renji during the day tomorrow." Komamura said.

For the next few hours we spent brainstorming tomorrow's prank events all leading up to the evening when it's expected to go down, this is going to be fun.

The next day, after classes 

Classes have ended and everyone will either be out on the town or at the cafeteria and halls doing their homework with their friends, quickly finishing up with the extra work I went to leave when I was restrained by a rope of reiatsu" where are you going?" I turned to see a woman with black hair and red streaks come out of the shadows with a grin on her face, a little ball of her energy in hand.

"How are you doing that? it's impossible." I said," it just takes your imagination to pull this off as I did was Tosen yesterday morning, he spilled the beans about everything, we didn't interrogate him we just listened from around the corner, plus it was obvious from the little pranks pulled on Renji and Hinamori that were going to reign hell on them, luck just ran out." She said.

The woman grabbed the nearest chair, separating my hands, tying them to the back legs then secured me to the chair after letting go" seriously? Why didn't he warn us?" I asked," we threatened to prank him like Komamura if he came running here to warn you that you were caught, see ya." She said.

"Hey! Aren't you going to untie me after the fact?!" I demanded," I'll let one of your friends find and untie you, just sit back and relax." She said then walked out of the room' great, now what?' I thought trying to get my hands out of the restraints, cursing when I realized she triple-tied the knots, she's smart and I don't want to mess with her.

90 minutes later, Renji's POV 

Running out of the building we just finished setting up the booby trap in store for Komamura I grinned over to Hinamori" thanks to Hasine we're clear, we didn't get dropped by Toyhiro." She said," yeah, I just hope she doesn't go over and start helping them or it's over." I said. 10 minutes later we got back to building 4 where Hasine is sitting on the ground and finishing up her homework.

"Hey, weren't you supposed to be guarding Toyhiro in the lab?" I asked," no, I left him to be found by one of his friends, he's tied up and useless in using spells since I separated his hands." She said," I wouldn't be surprised if he were able to recite level 60-80 kido spells with just speaking." I said," they'll learn that later this year." Hasine said closing her book" I hope you're right or he smuggled one of those books and studied." Hinamori said.

"Hey guy, is everything set up?" Rukia asked when an anguished scream ran out from clear across the grounds" I think that answers your question." Hasine said" TOYHIRO!! Why was nothing set up!?" He roared" I tied him up that's why." She said grinning as Tosen glanced over to us when he got out of the school and shook his head" he learned his lesson." Hinamori said smirking.

"Let's just hope it doesn't come back to bite you guys," Hasine said smirking" I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of whatever you did to stink up his barrack." Hisagi said," got rotten fruits and veggies from the dump and strung it up in a net and when he goes running for shelter he's going to be covered in whipped cream." I said," remind me to be on your side in a prank war." He said," noted." I said smirking.
