65: Party spots

3 weeks later, Adrian's POV 

"So what are we doing tonight?" I asked walking into the barracks with Capri" I don't have anything planned tonight." She said as we walked over to the others who are out of their uniforms and in regular civilian clothing" are you guys going to a party?" I asked.

"Yes we are, 1st years go to a forest clearing and light a bonfire and dance or go to the abandoned barrack building 61, 2nd years come outside, get some music going and start a flashmob, the rest of us go to an abandoned warehouse that's been converted into a bar and party there," Renji said," Capri's a 4th year and I'm a 1st year, I guess I can't come with you," I said.

"You can, they serve more than booze, they also serve tea and juice since Hasine refuses to drink because of a little incident in an abandoned church courtyard when she was alive, she was only 19." Hisagi said," what happened?" Capri asked," a college kid brought 3 bottles of booze to his rowdy friends before a guard showed up and it wasn't pretty." Hasine said shuddering a little.

"When you said this place was converted into a bar, were the seniors the ones to convert it?" I asked," yeah that did." Adelaida said and we ran out to change into civilian clothing before we met back up with the others and we left following the seniors to the warehouse.

15 minutes later we got to the warehouse where sure enough it was full of life, musicians were blasting the infant music called jazz, kids were sitting at the tables and animatedly chatting, drinks in hand and some were scattered around a dance floor" so this is a party, seems fun." I said.

"When I met these guys I was with a group of training partners that left me out of everything in fear I'd ruin it so I talked to Hasine for a bit and stormed on the stage and did my best dance." Adelaida said," when I was alive some people at school went to parties, I was never allowed in fear of incurring the wrath of my dad." I said," since we're here do you want to go up onto the dance floor and do a little boogie?" Renji asked.

"Me? I don't think I can." I said" come on! We'll cheer you on." Hisagi said then chanted my name followed by the rest of the group" ok fine, I'll do but I'll get you back if I mess up." I said, Capri grabbed my arm and took me into the middle of the mob of people and started dancing.

I copied her movements and before long we hammed it up with our own moves and got the attention of the entire crowd while doing so and started roaring with cheers, some even coming to dance with us, this is going to be fun.
