99: Burn spot

Walking out of the school I grumbled tiredly before I stopped dead, a burn mark was seared into the ground to the point it was black, and have no intention of going anywhere, I knew Hasine was an angel but I had no idea how angels actually transform into there angel forms, I guess this burn mark is my answer but honestly, I thought it'd be bigger.

"Hey, what are you looking at?" Adrian asked walking over" did Hasine make this burn mark?" I asked" yeah she did, she had to save a group of 1st years from being eaten by hollows and save a whole lot more after the fact, there was a whole hoard of them and she transformed.

She did while hovering in the air to not injure the 1st years any further, I felt the shockwave from the barracks, Hisagi, and his housemates also felt it, In a nutshell, angels explode out in energy to transform and incinerate everything in the immediate area around them." Adrian explained.

"Remind me to not be around when she does transform." I said," nobody does, it's better to be 7ft back." He said," so did you know she was an angel?" I asked," I added it up when I first saw her and asked the others and they confirmed it, Hisagi was the only one to not know until 10 days before the end of their final year, he was slowly adding it up but he didn't want to know until that day." He explained.

"Figures, she said she had been friends with him 2 years before they came to the academy and was in denial that his closest friend wasn't a normal human soul," I said, Adrian hummed" don't get me started on Yamamoto Soutaicho." Adrian said," don't tell me he's a fallen angel?" I asked.

"Yeah he is, he fell 7000 years ago just after he evolved into an archangel and had a one-man party and broke the rule of keeping your feelings to yourselves and fell." He said," that's just crazy, Hasine is an angel and Yamamoto is a fallen angel, what's the world coming to?" I asked" nothing much except for the future war to come." Adrian said," leave me alone for tonight, I need to process this." I said.

Turning to leave Adrian grabbed my shoulder and spun me around" oh yeah, one other thing if you're a prodigy then you have to do a review test that's worth 60% of your grade until you graduate so you might want to start studying." He said," oh great, the first week here isn't even done yet and I find out about this, thanks for the heads up." I said and we back to the barracks to think everything over and start studying like a madman.
