1 month later, Kol's POV
Over the last 2 years, I've started to shine and understand what it means to command an army, or in my case a legion of 20000 instead of a massive army of angels equal to the army of demons down in hell, now it's going to be put to the test in this battle near the river Somme to drive the German army out of France sort of understanding the stress of commanding an army.
The intel that came in on both sides said they were coming to meet and duke it out meaning over the next few months that hollows are going to be running rampant and try to feed on the souls that haven't had the ritual performed to protect them from the hollows and demons when the sounds of gunfire went off.
Also, I've learned that the hollows aren't interested in getting involved in the first few days of the battle, instead, they send scouts with their interest piqued knowing they might get a big meal, they're not going to get that meal if we have anything to say about that...even though a couple of hundred soul reapers have been shredded by really angry hollows who haven't had anything to eat in quite a while.
Some tried to turn into a Gillian but their power was maxed out and they just took their anger out to just satisfy themselves, as the day drew on the battle is getting more and more intense as the battle goes on but I don't want to be too confident on testing myself leading this team.
