Ginrei's POV
A knock on the door alerted me to someone wanting to come in, Byakuya looked over to the door" you can come in." I said, The door opened and Hasine walked in and sat beside Byakuya" you know, the rules here never change up here, but down in the living world there changing.
I learned that from coming to the living world a few times and I broke the rules here to adopt one of your friends into the clan and marry a girl from the Rukon district, I didn't care about the scorn at the time, I was in love and she told me to find Rukia on her death bed." Byakuya said," love doesn't care for who you fall in love with unless you're happy." Hasine said
From there the 2 dived into a conversation about the differences between the laws in the living world and in the Soul Society and how the laws here are slowly but surely changing" so what's going to happen with the noble system?" Byakuya asked.
"We'll still have influence since we'll be funding the academy along with still having influence in the government but lessened along with bettering the conditions in districts 78 and lower the best we can," I said, for the next hour we continued talking politics before the conversation died down and we were left in a comfortable silence" so, what was your wife like before she died?" Hasine asked softly.
"She was the light of my life, to be honest, I don't think I can get that back even though her last words were to not become a shell of who I am," Byakuya said, Hasine hummed then smirked scarily slowly looking over to Byakuya, he reeled back as she made an orb of water appear in her hand by moving it back and forth with the intent to start a water fight.
"No, no, NO!" He said and he booked it out of the room, I snickered silently at the scene reminiscent of the games Yoruichi and him played when he was younger.
