35: Stone pillars

The next day, Toshiro's POV 

Opening the door as quietly as I can to Hasine's shared room with Rukia, I grinned a little bit seeing her sleeping like a rock, running straight up to the bed jumping onto her, and jolting her awake before sending me to the floor with a thud" ow." I said," then don't jump on the bed then." She said, getting up I walked around the bed to her sword leaning on the nightstand" is your weapon spirit born if your second year? Have you learned its abilities?" I asked.

"Yes I have, I'm learning his abilities as we speak," Hasine said," I'm not 5, I'm 10, Hinamori told me they have to beat their sword spirits into submission." I said," that's for Bankai, well I did fight Micelos to help him unlock his abilities, do you want me to show you?" She asked, I nodded" alright, I'll be out in a few minutes when I change." She said, grinning I left the room to let her change.

A couple of minutes later she came out of the room and went outside into the morning cold, the sun rising and making the frost glitter" so what are you going to do?" I asked," stand over there." Hasine said, cocking a brow in confusion but did so as she tested out the ground before stabbing her sword into the ground.

Hasine's POV

"Annihilate all thy creation, earth break," I said taking my hands off the handle, pointing my finger over at the 11-year-old, and raising my arm up, a stone pillar rose out of the ground making him yelp and bend down for balance then stopped when it was 5 ft off the ground. 

"That's cool but can you get me down?" He asked, in response, I made several more pillars in the configuration of stairs for him to easily get back to the ground" be careful, I'll catch you if you fall." I said as he hopped down the stairs and back to the ground" so that's your ability?" Toshiro asked.

"One part of it, I can control water, fire, electricity, air, and ice. Last night I felt a little chill in the room and you're leaking reiatsu, you have to control that, try to meditate." I said," I can't or I'll see him." Toshiro said," who do you see your sleep?" I asked," I can't see it but it looks like a dragon, I never mentioned it to Momo or anyone, I'm scared." He said.

"People will eventually find out, I can't just hand you my sword so you can get a closer look at this dragon, just try and meditate and if it doesn't work then that will be bad news for your grandma," I said," what are you saying?" Toshiro asked, coming out of Shikai I crouched to be face level with him.

"You're getting stronger with every year, you said you never want to be a Shinigami, if your meditation doesn't work you have to take the test or one of these days your grandma will die from hypothermia, just from ruffling your hair I can feel the power in the midst of flooding out," I said, his eyes widened" I can do the meditation even if it means seeing the dragon." He said as I stood up.

"What are you 2 doing?" Rukia asked walking up" he wanted to see my zanpaktou ability, I showed him earth break." I said," it was a trust exercise." He said," for some reason, I felt a chill last night, aren't you going to show him ice?" Hinamori asked" that would be him, he has potential but it poses a risk to his grandma as the years go by. Annihilate all thy creation, waves, and spikes of ice." I said bringing my sword down.

The temperature dropped around me and my sword, turning away from the other 2 I raised my blade and swung it, a wave of ice shot out before wearing off leaving a 10ft patch of snow in its wake, motioning the sword I picked the snow up creating a tornado around it, turning to Toshiro who's just watching this in awe, I smirked:" run." I said, his eyes widened and he ran for it" what are you going to do?" Rukia asked.

"Cover him in snow," I said whipping the sword in his direction, the snow shot out swirling around him before it covered him, and he yelped loudly when gusts of wind tripped him and he fell to the ground before I came out of Shikai again, he got up and trudged back over grumbling, we laughed seeing the mini snowman walk over to us" thanks a lot, I'm getting you back sometime." He said flatly wiping the snow off.

"What's up? What happened to you?" Hinamori asked before laying eyes on Toshiro and starting to laugh" she happened, made me a mini ice man." He said wiping the rest of the snow off" watch your back, he's a little prankster when he wants to be." Hinamori said," I'll wait, she may be fun but she's terrifying." Toshiro said and walked back into the house" so what is that?" Hinamori asked looking down at the patch of snow where Toshiro was standing.

"I said I can control ice and snow, that's snow." I said," Hisagi found the article about the snow that happened 2000 years ago, seeing it right now is so exciting but also kind of boring." Hinamori said," I can't make it anymore at the moment, if I did then people next door would freak out, like I said maybe it'll happen again." I said, she nodded and we went back inside.
