78: Trust

Hiyori's POV 

"So this what Hasine meant when she'd poof us out of existence if she transformed in the room, the ground is burned," Lisa said," so basically when an angel transforms back into their true form then they'd incinerate everything in range," I said," so why are we here anyway?" Kensei asked.

"I have no idea, something about trust," I said when a white blur passed us out of nowhere and all we heard was Shinji screaming like a little girl" Shinji! Where are you?!" Kensei yelled," I'm up here!" He shouted, looking up we saw Hasine in her angel form holding the 5th division captain securely in place as she flew up higher" this is not going to go well." I said.

Hasine's POV

"Let me go! What are you doing?!" Shinji demanded," do you trust me?" I asked," I do, why are you asking?" He asked and I let go of him letting him fly alongside me" I'm going to do a flip and then do a free fall and then fly through that canyon!" I said," ok, I trust you I'll be able to keep up with you." Shinji said and we flew up to 1500ft, we leveled out and then we shot up in a loop and dove.

Shinji started screaming again but it was out of excitement, getting to the 300ft mark from the cliff I tapped Shinji on the shoulder" NOW!" I shouted and opened my wings, Shinji started flying again and we went at breakneck speed and into the canyon speeding through the straight away, turning, and Shinji following and we got to the rock stacks and pillars.

"Are you sure you can fit!?" Shinji shouted," I learned from the best, I flew through the forest before I sped past the others, follow my lead!" I said and we started weaving in and out of the stacks, under and through the narrow spot stacks made, and before long we were flying straight towards a narrow ravine" are you going to even fit in there!?" Shinji shrieked.

I didn't answer, turning onto my side we went straight into the opening, flapping my wings in mini beats so as to not damage them, Shinji did the same but without wings, and after just seconds we shot out seeing a rock pillar stuck in the cliffs, doing a tight loop I beat my wings a couple of times letting Shinji pass me and sped after him, catching up I was flying at the same speed but I was above him.

After several minutes we were coming up to a dead end, I let my wings catch the air and stopped, Shinji screeching to a halt and we shot up the cliff wall and out of the canyon" that was insane! But you gained my trust as a friend!" He said, I high-fived him" we have each other's backs." I said and we headed back to the others.
