"To Your Neon Lights"

He was patiently waiting for your reply
While I overthink waiting for his
I stand alone watching the cracks of my heart
It is starting to look like the cracks on the ground
He was holding an umbrella above your head
As you both walk happily pass by me
You didn't see me and he never did
But I saw that scene like I'm watching a movie
His always in my head but his head is filled by your image
While he is with you I am dying every day
You walked excitedly to see him in his chambers
As he wait impatiently for you to arrive
As soon as you step foot inside, his world is all lit up
His face is filled with joy, his smile is wide as the ocean
The longing between your heart and his are mutual
He bows with loyalty with your every move
He worshiped your very being
He cherish every inch of you
You say his name and he melts instantly
Oh to be mentioned by someone you dreamed of
Oh to be embraced by someone you hold dear
I am not comfortable seeing him with somebody else
My heart is breaking watching him melt at the sight of you
You, the bane of his existence, his neon lights
The light in his evening, the subject of his wishes
To his Neon lights, how does it feel to drown in his embrace?
How does it feel to be the subject of his writings?
How does it feel to be someone's light in the sky?
To his Neon lights, I hope you make him happy
I hope the love you had for him will last a lifetime
I hope you will not get tired of understanding his mind
I hope you keep admiring his soul
I hope you keep safe of his heart
You've won this war with flying colors
Not even a scratch in your plot armor
I love him enough to try even if I'm no match for your greatness
But I promise that you will never see me again
To the heroine that killed the villain that I am in your story,
I hope you find your peace, I hope you're happy
This is the story of a fish who dreamed to be a star
A story of a mere fool who battled a Goddess
To the Neon lights who shined in his sky,
I'm sorry if I thought my light would be enough
I'm sorry if I thought I could be someone like you.
