"An Argument Between the Heart and The Brain"

Brain:

You did everything you could to get him

You almost destroyed them

You almost became the bad guy

You almost ruin a love story

You almost separate the main characters

You almost ruin yourself in the process of loving him

You ignored the signs fate had given you

You ignore the pain you have felt in the past

You ignore the wounds that are still in need of healing

You ignore the truth that you already know

You ignored me so don't cry

You did this to yourself

Pay for your stupid mistakes.

Heart:

But what do you know about what I felt?

Why am I the only one to be blamed?

Why am I the only one in pain?

Why am I the only one being sacrificed?

You are the one in charge of making choices

You are the one who made a mistake.

Brain:

You are the one who always intervenes in everything I do

You always use that emotion against my logic

You said love was worth it, you are the stupid one.

Heart:

When did you become so cold and insensitive?

Brain:

I don't know, since you break yourself.

Heart:

I've always been broken.

Brain:

No, you were beautiful when we started

You are the one who destroyed yourself

You destroyed us and who we are

You break yourself slowly until there is nothing left.

Heart:

How is my pain concerning you?

If I am the stupid one and the one at fault,

Why are you talking to me like you are also hurting?

I was the broken one in here and not you!

Brain:

You forgot I was your older sister!

My job was to protect you

Building walls and not feeling anything is my way of preventing your pain

I am crumbling while you are breaking
