"Okay, why dont you go down to the nursery and scare the newborn babies" Tori told Jade.

She gasped "where are the babies" she asked looking at the doctor.

"Uh"

"so, doc, what's the situation with Robbie" Andre asked looking at the Doctor.

"Well, you see this tear in his small intestine"

"Yeah"

"well if the Pontiac moves it could rip that kid's guts apart" he said as Robbie made a weird squealing noise.

"So slice him open, and yank it out"

"Oh, we would, but Robbie has a rare blood type, O negative"

"ohh"

"negative"

"and we dont have enough here for the surgery"

"so how do you plan to-"

"Woah, woah, i know where you could get some o negative blood"

"Where"

"right here" she said grabbing Tori's arm.

"I'm O negative, you did go through my medical records"

"told you i do my research" Jade said in her Tori accent.

"Would you be willing to donate blood for Robbie's operation"

"uh, sure, Totally"

"but the play starts in three hours"

"oh, you're in a play"

"uh yea, at school im the lead"

"Well dont you have a understudy, someone that could take your place"

"mm-hmm, yeah, she does" Jade said smiling.

They took Tori away to get her blood drawn.

I was bored in the waiting room, cause i didn't wanna sit there and hear tori complain.

"When does Beck come back"

"dont know"

"do you miss him"

"yeah"

"wheres cat"

"Probably with Trina"

After talking for a while i guess they lost Tori's blood, but i had a feeling Jade did something.

So they were taking another pint.

I was bored laying on the chairs in the waiting room.

"hmm" I said playing with my shirt.

I decided to go back to school with Lane, Cat and Trina and Chase decided to come last minute.

"We're back"

"Ah, Cat, Hurry go help sinjin with the lighting cues" he told cat.

"Kay, kay"

"wheres tori"

"Still at the hospital"

"whattt"

"they lost her blood, so they're taking more" I said sitting in one of the chairs.

"well, she better bleed fast"

"I agree"

"only you would"

"where's jade"

"Somebody looking for the best dang Steamboat captain this here rivers ever seen" Jade said coming out in the costume for Suzy.

"Why are you wearing tori's dress" Trina asked confused.

"Cause she's playing hospital, so I'm playing Suzy"

"And i wanna play Beck" i whispered plying with my fingers.

"Tori's gonna be back in plenty of time"

"Oh, then ill just keep her dress warm" Jade said walking away, when Trina started coughing up a whole hair ball.

"Ah, now that cough sounded nice and thick like cottage cheese"

"ew"

"Very realistic"

"yeah, cause a diseased man really gave me tuberculosis"

"Yes!. If you believe that, the audience will also"

"Oh god, tori texted me she said Robbie was playing with the blood but he dropped it and now she has to get more, and it splattered all over them" I said reading the text she sent me off my phone.

It was time for the play, and Tori looked drunk.

"We're not- we're not docking, ill park the boaty" she she almost falling.

"You?, dont be redic-"

"Yikes, Tori does not look good" Sikowitz said as we were watching them from behind the curtain.

"Not at all"

"Agreed"

"Its not her fault, they too three pints of blood"

Trina came on the stage with her nasty cough.

"that little--, that little girl is sick"

"Help me, please help me" Trina said coughing.

"Weve got to get her to- to- uh"

"New Orleans" Andre whispered to her.

"Newborn Beans"

"By dargbark"

"help" Trina said coughing more.

"you cant captain a boat, you're just a woman"

"you--you may be a woman, but that doesn't mean I'm not the best dingdang robot captain- that this rivers ever-"

"Yikes"

"And i will always la-la-la-la-la-la, a woman always da-da-da-da dee, and so im not a captain, im a pretty little salmon- ohh" she said then passed out.

"Curtain" Sikowitz said into the mic.

"Curtain!"

"Uh, we'll be taking a brief intermission"

"Poor Tori"

"yeah, ill go get her dress off"

"nooo" Sikowitz said grabbing her as she tried to leave.

"she cant play the role, and im the understudy"

"i dont care, you've been acting like a gank all week"

"damn" i said looking at them.

"im not going to reward you by letting you play the lead"

"there is an audience out there. the show must go on"

"Yes, it must, and must it shall" he said looking at me.

"you cant captain the boat, you're just a woman" Andre said to me as i was now playing Suzy.

"I may be a woman, but that doesn't mean I'm not the beat dang Steamboat captain, this here river's ever seen"
