Climbing the stairs was dreadful because no matter how beautifully it was decorated all I could focus on was the ugly truth. The truth that Anna, I'm sorry Valentina Moretti was playing me this entire time. I feel so stupid and embarrassed. This entire time she was right under my nose. For all I know Mario sent her to get close to me. Dario will lose his shit once I admit what I've discovered and I need to inform Ayana and Kiana as well. They will surely be disappointed even hurt but they need to know. We've all been deceived by that bitch. My brain was working a mile per minute and everything started making sense. That's why she was on that boat ride. She knew full well the company of men in attendance and she was well familiar with them too because she was engaged to not one but two dangerous men. She might have even known about me from the very fucking beginning. Pretending to be clueless and naive as she acted all innocent.

"They went all out huh. I'm a little surprised that everything isn't black like their souls." Camilla said trying to joke as she walked beside me. "What is bothering you?" She questioned my mood.
"Camilla have you not recognized that Mario's wife is the same woman that Ayana introduced us to as her boss at her company's event?"
"Really? Damn, I thought she looked familiar. I just couldn't pinpoint where I recognized her from. Does that mean that Ayana is unknowingly working for the enemies!?" She gasped.
"This whole ordeal is fucking crazy. Anna—Valentina and I were well acquainted but she lied to me. She knew who I was and only pretended to be nice to me to get close to me, most likely for Mario. She lied about her identity. I am a fool."
"Don't beat yourself up about it. After tonight, we'll figure out where to go from here. If I know my brothers well, they're already calculating their next moves if they haven't already. Let us enjoy tonight while we can, look at the food." She practically dragged me to the table filled with finger foods. She couldn't be any less unbothered by the revelation.
