"I'll be back but my nephew's birthday is coming up and I wouldn't dream of missing that."
"Your nephew? You mean Kiara's son you were telling my mom about?"
"Yes but I'll be back soon though."
"Sheesh Kiana, I guess you're like the rich cousin in the family now the way you catching flights."
"Please don't go repeating that I'm rich because I'm not." I laughed. A boatride with family seems like the most therapeutic thing right now especially with the crazy week that I've had.
I haven't seen that crazy lady again and as big as New York is, the chances of seeing her were slim. I'm just going to consider it a coincidence that I saw her twice in the first place. These things happen and I hope she gets the help she needs.

Now to fit everything in my suitcase and carry-on bag is going to be the real struggle. My flight is tomorrow night and I've not gotten a chance to pack. Trust me to be last minute but if it's one thing I won't do is miss a flight so one way or another I'll be ready and on time even if I need to skip a shower.
