Dario POV

"My late brother Rafael, loved this part of interrogation. When his victims began pleading for their sorry lives, willing to sacrifice anyone to save their own skin. The thrill of it all was something he looked forward to." I stated. "We were different in that manner. There was no real pleasure in it for me. I didn't care for torturous deaths. I preferred a fast kill. I like to get straight to the point with things unless otherwise necessary of course so I suppose you should be grateful that you're dying at the hands of my cousin and not me." I added.

"Is he the last one?" Kiara asked from the corner of the room

"Is he the last one?" Kiara asked from the corner of the room. She had walked in only a few moments ago.

"He is." Killian answered her. The last man standing on the task force that was trying so hard to take us down. I didn't care id they knew we were behind it. Hell, I wanted Abaté to know I was coming for him. I wanted him to see firsthand just how unprotected he really was. There was nowhere anyone could hide from me in Italy. I had eyes and ears everywhere. Not even the government could protect it's fellow public servants from me. Abaté was a fool thinking he was untouchable because he had the feds backing him. I bet he fell useless seeing his people die one on some occasions, two at a time. I was wiping the fucking team out clean. We had already located their base and blown it to fucking bits along with whomever was unlucky enough to be present at the time.  First he loses his evidence, then his workers, now he should be losing his mind and next he'll lose his life. Even if he suspected these attacks were our doing, I have great certainty that motive was not enough to put a single man farless an entire family in handcuffs. He didn't have shit that would stick anymore. Once they realized we were coming for them, they foolishly went dark. Unfortunately for them, not even the dark could hide my enemies. Those who tried to flee the country met their demise first. It was hysterical seeing then scatter and confidently plan to work remotely until things cooled off. They sounded like cowards if you asked me.

"Good. I need this behind us."

"Consider it done."

"And what of Abaté?"

"He'll get what's coming to him."

"Soon Dario. There is no need to prolong the process any further." She said sternly. Kiara in boss lady mode is always such a turn on.

"Why are you even here Kiara?" I questioned not suspiciously at all. I knew she had a busy schedule trying to plan Massimo's birthday and shopping for our sons today plus with Christmas around the corner she has been planning a family dinner for a few weeks now. Here is the last place I expected to see her tonight.

"I was on my home actually and decided I wanted my husband with me. Is there something wrong with that?"

"I still have some things I need to do before I come home so I won't be able to leave with you."

"Are they really that urgent that you can't deal with them another time preferably when your wife isn't seeking your company?"

"Unfortunately not tonight. I'll see what tomorrow is looking like."
