"I wouldn't trust the all white though, it gets dirty so quickly."
"All white gives off a sophisticated yet powerful look. As you said it's simple but yet it's loud. You can definitely spot it in a crowd."
"Well I guess so. By the way how did my brother take the pregnancy news?"
"Okay I guess. When I told him I was pregnant he wasn't the least bit surprised and I don't blame him. In fact he was acting a little cocky but when I admitted to be carrying twins, well it's kind of obvious that I deflated his balloon a bit. He didn't actually say it but I can tell he wasn't thrilled by the idea."
"Well I can't say I blame him. His twin did start a war and try to kill him not too long ago."
"You make a valid point." I admitted.
"Obviously.."
"I don't want to think about that right now. Luca must be waiting, we should go."
We met our driver and Luca waiting downstairs and hopped in the black Range Rover. Camilla and I were representing the family today at a press conference which the President was hosting.
The Romano family and the president have been allies for years even before his winning election. It's good to keep ties like that alive. You'll never know when you may need an ally in a sticky situation.
When we arrived, there were already quite a bit of people waiting and we actually arrived early. The security was tight. They checked every bag, shoe, pocket, you name it. Rightfully so though, this is the president we're speaking of after all.
It was an interesting conference to say the least. It wasn't long at all thankfully because these heels were killing me. Camilla and I were just making our exit when the man himself spotted us.
"Kiara e Camilla Romano, è un piacere avervi entrambe tra noi. " (Kiara and Camilla Romano, it is a pleasure to have you both with us.)
"Grazie, mi creda, il piacere è tutto nostro, signor Presidente." (Thank you, believe me, the pleasure is all ours, Mr. President.) I answered humbly.
"Un vero tesoro." (A real sweet heart). "Grazie a entrambi per essere venuti, spero di avere il sostegno della famiglia Romano alle prossime elezioni." (Thank you both for coming, I hope to have the support of the Romano family in the next election.)
"Credetemi, non saremmo qui se non aveste il nostro sostegno." Camilla told him honestly. (Believe me, we would not be here if you did not have our support.)
"Mi fa piacere sentirlo, spero di vedere Dario e Marcellous alla conferenza successiva." (Good to hear, hope to see Dario and Marcellous at the next conference.)
