"Sure you know you're welcome to stay Kiana. It's not a problem.
"So basically I've been living miserable and you've been living your best life."

"Oh God now you're making me feel awful Kiara."

"Relax I'm only joking. It's been hard but I love my sons, on my worst days all I have to do is look at them. It's serves as a gentle reminder that I was powerful enough to bring four humans into this dreadful world. My boys mean the world to me and as long as I have them, life will always be worth living. I've sure as hell seen worse times. I'm glad you've been making a name for yourself in America. You're exactly what the fashion world was missing Kiana, trust me."

"Aww that means so much coming from you. I've missed you terribly. I was so excited when you reached out. I think my faith in Dario is what kept me sane imagine that. I was like there is no way he'll leave Kiara in a bad position in all this shit, there has to be a good reason she's off the grid."

"I'm sorry I didn't reach out sooner though. We've been back for a few months already. The boys are even attending school."

"That's crazy to think about and look how much they've grown too damn. Enzo and Santino said they don't remember that actually hurt my feelings but they were pretty young the last time I saw them so it's expected I suppose."

"Don't you worry, they'll get to know you now and Matteo could never forget you." I said knowing it's his reaction that really has her nervous. She practically raised him at some point of his life and she's bis godmother. She has been around for most of his life so I would sure hope he remembers her. Massimo has a slim chance of forgetting Kiana though.

As if on cue, the front door opened and Luca, Massimo and Matteo walked in.

"Oh my God.." she mumbled watching them.

"Boys come over here!" I called out. Once they joined us in the living room I gestured to Kiana. "You do remember her right?" They observed her curiously then exchanged a look before shaking their head.

"Ouch. Can't even lie that hurts" She uttered.

"Fanno sul serio, fratello?" (Are they serious, brother?) Massimo asked his brother but then they both laughed shaking their heads confusing Kiana and myself. "That was too easy, of course we remember Aunt Kiana." Those sly little bastards played us for a fool. Kiana didn't seem to care because she immediately rushed to hug them.

"Supper should be ready soon, let them go wash up." I said. The boys went up to their rooms and we spent the time enjoying a bottle of wine.
