Dario
"No need for the sour face. Let's not act like you aren't pleased to see me." Camilla spoke up breaking the tension or at least attempting to.
"Pleased? To see the woman who ripped my heart out and stomped on it for the sake of her family—more specifically her devil of a brother who she had the nerve to bring along to see me after nine years for reasons beyond me."
"It's been nine years? Wow I can't believe you've kept track. I've got to say your Russian accent has improved. I mean you still sound like the same British prick but with a nasty edge that says 'I've been living in Russia long enough to be one of them' you know?" I can't tell if my sister is deliberately antagonizing him or not.
"Why are you here Camilla?" He was practically grinding his teeth.
"Well Klaus, I have a little problem and I require your dire assistance."
"You have a problem or the Don behind you has a problem?" He inquired.
"Either way it's one and the same." She shrugged carelessly. "I know you'll be leaving for Russia again tonight so it's just my luck that I need you to track my sister-in-law for me." She said.
"You mean Kiara Romano, his wife? Camilla you've become naive. What makes you think I would help you?" He laughed lightly.
"Because she is asking you nicely." I spoke up. "On the hand, me? I don't ask." I said just as my men joined us in the room. Right on cue.
"Are you threatening me to help you find your wife Romano? How bad of a monstrous husband could you be for the woman who just made headlines for returning on the scene to go missing again?" He smirked. "I mean if she didn't run away from you, why else would you need help finding her?" He added knowingly. He was baiting me. He knew exactly what the circumstances were. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out especially knowing our line of work.
I drew my gun and aimed it at his head. "Listen you filthy rat—
"Hey hey! What the hell?! Dario stop it." Camilla tried pulling my arm back. "I said stop it brother! You're making things worse. Let me speak with him." She hasn't spoken to him since she used him and tossed him for intel for my benefit. Camilla reasoning with this man was really a 50/50 chance. He was pathetically smitten with her. Hoping that she could pull his heart strings enough to use him again is almost impossible but, if there is any chance of getting more help in locating my wife I need to take it.
Regrettably, I withdrew my gun. Glancing down at a surprised Camilla, I motioned to my men to exit.
"Spero che tu sappia cosa stai facendo, sorella."
(I hope you know what you're are doing sister)"Per una volta fidati di me, fratello."
(For once just trust me brother)I nodded and without another word, took my leave.
