"Kiana darling, no I'm sorry. Maybe make a name for yourself first then check with me again. We only work with the best of the best. I have a brand to maintain, I hope you understand." She gave a sympathetic smile and although she was lowkey a bitch at least she didn't shut me down off the bat like the other three this week.
My entire week has been spent job hunting and I have not gotten anywhere. With some convincing from his wife Dario gave me shares of Rafael's assets so I am not a broke woman and can survive just fine on my own. However, I do not wish to simply survive and certainly not off of my dead abuser's money. I want nothing tying me to Rafael Romano. I need income of my own. I need a sustainable job, one I will enjoy and pays well. I'm not sure what convinced me to look for that job in the states knowing how tough job hunting was back then. Nothing has really changed since at least not for the better.
With my tail tucked between my legs, I left her office then the building. My next appointment for the day is with a designing company called Madam Chic located in Staten Island and it isn't for another four hours so I have time on my hands.
Taking a bus back to the city, I made it to the hotel. As soon as I got to my room I stripped out of my clothes. I desperately needed a bubble bath to relax myself.

After filling the tub with some lavender scented bubble soap, I connected my phone to the speaker putting on some Jhené Aiko.
Soaking for thirty minutes had my fingers looking like prunes. When I was done washing off the soap in the shower. I got dressed into some comfortable clothes deciding to do something fun in my spare time.
