"So tell us... what's it like living with a CEO?" Sophia joked. I was out at a cafe with Sophia the receptionist, her sister Gabriela, and Joseline my neighbor. We had become a lot closer this past month ever since I introduced them and met Gabriela.
I put my Chai down, faking a smile.
"Exactly what you'd think" I state. They all went into a deep conversation about what they would request if they lived with someone as wealthy as Theo.
Tony sent me a text reading "Hello my gorgeous! We still down for a dinner tomorrow?"
I replied back "maybe but I'll let you know :)"
I said maybe because I still had hope that maybe my boyfriend would step away from work for one goddamn second and have dinner with me. Nicole and I have been eating alone just about every night for the past month. Moving in took a lot of persuasion but now I wonder why I even did it at all. I keep replaying the night he asked and how magical he made it feel. I was so taken aback that he wanted me living in his mansion. We made love that night and giggled afterwards like best friends.
I snapped out of my thoughts to see my phone ringing. It was Nicole calling me.
"Hello baby girl, everything okay?" I answered.
"yes. I just was wondering if you could bring my pink bow ? I forgot it and you know I won't perform without it! Pleasseeee run home and grab it! I'll text you the address!!"
She said 'thank you' and hung up before I could even think about it so I guess I had no choice. I really did not want to potentially run into mrs.rekkel but I had to support Nicole. This was her first closing solo and she's extremely nervous about it.
"babes, I gotta run an errand so I'll see you guys" I hugged everyone goodbye, tossing what was left of my chai.
