Theo's pov
Nicole seemed like she was in a better mood but it could be because I allowed her to watch that damn show of hers. I didn't like it because it seemed inappropriate but I did enjoy seeing her happy.

We were greeted by the owners when we had arrived. I recognized the couple through my parents. My dad had business related to the properties so they were familiar faces. We had small talk as we were escorted to our room by security and he ended up telling me about some huge beach party tomorrow night.

That made Rebecca's face light up of course. She ended up asking for money and hitting the mall to find some clothes to wear for the party tomorrow. As if she didn't already pack 7 bags of luggage that the poor driver had to carry. I was just glad I didn't have to be with her.

I changed into a black shirt with a thin gold chain dangling over it. Nikki sat on the bed watching my television. She begged me to stay inside and I agreed because it would give me some solo exploration time. I wish Ken was here to watch her along with the security team, but we got into a bad fight a while ago.

I admit that Diya left me a mess and I took it out on a lot of people. That included threatening Ken's job and being a dick most days. He got sick of it, called me out on my shit so I told him to never come back. Sometimes I had my driver drop Nikki off over his house but we have not spoke ever since. My ego wouldn't allow such a thing.

I sprayed some cologne on; leaving the bathroom to kiss the top of Nicole's head.

"you be safe. I'll be back in an hour or three little lady. Text or call if you need me"

"You too big lady" she joked. I smiled to myself, I felt like things were getting back to normal already.

The resort was packed with women in every corner. Most were married to millionaires who cheated on them every night so it was free game. I truly tried to ignore my urges but it was my only way to cope nowadays. How else would I keep my mind off of her?

I stopped in my tracks when I recognized a gentle voice. I could tell a tour was happening by the crowd but the guide seemed so familiar from afar. This isn't the first time I thought Diya was nearby but the crowd and the fact that she was turned, made it harder to know for sure. Or maybe I was just crazy.

I sped up a little, removing my shades to squint at every angle I could but they kept walking further and further.

"Babeeee" Rebecca squealed when she caught sight of me. Wonderful.

"What are you up to?" She questioned with shopping bags in her hands.

"Just gonna have drinks with some guys I met" I lied, praying that she took the hint.

"oh okay. I'll go change and maybe take Nicole to do something"

"Mhm sounds good hun" I stared in the distance not caring if Rebecca asked who I was staring at. I had to be sure.

I audibly sighed. I really did need to forget about Diya. I was starting to hallucinate her everywhere I went.
