I tied my hair back while I sat in front of the toilet. I had that horrible feeling you get right before you vomit. I've been yacking ever since our home invasion.
My anxiety has been horrible so I think it's causing random upset stomachs every now and then. If that's possible?
I was hiding it from Theo because I didn't want him to stress it.
I've been barely making it to the bathroom to throw up but luckily, he was super focused on the dinner visit today. I invited Joseline for emotional support because I had no idea what to expect. Tony and Joseline knew each other when we were kids but neither of them knows that the other is gonna be there tonight.
I didn't even mention Joseline to Theo because I was not gonna risk him telling me no. He was gonna have to deal with her presence.
I spit into the toilet for the third time before feeling relieved at long last. I flushed my nastiness down the toilet then stood up to brush my teeth. I scrolled through my notifications at the sink.
Tony: be there in 1 hour sharp!
Joseline: might run a little late :(
Babes: come review my setup downstairs princess
I rinsed my mouth out, making my way downstairs. I found Theo slicing up veggies for what looked like a salad.
"Wow, you're cooking instead of the chef?" I smirked as I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Mhm Tony needs to know exactly what type of man I am. A skilled one"
I rolled my eyes, giggling at his need to prove himself...with a salad.
"Is my nikki eating dinner with us tonight?" I questioned.
"She will be eating her dinner upstairs for tonight but I promised that we would take her out for dessert after our private adult dinner.-"
I nodded before he continued.
"-She's just happy she gets to watch the vampire diaries while she eats. Can you believe I offered her some of the nutritious meal I'm cooking and she told me she wants McDonald's?"
I cackled as I made my way upstairs to get ready.
"Her loving that McDonald's shit is cuz of you ya know!" He yelled up to me jokingly. I smiled as I knocked on Nicole's door.
"Hey baby. Wanna help me pick out a dress for dinner?"
Nicole nodded, excitedly pausing her show. I had already showered and after 20 minutes, Nikki had me dolled up in a skims blue dress that reached my ankles.
"Do I look pretty?" I questioned.
"Very." Nicole kicked her feet while she laid on Theo and I's bed.
"Dad's gonna love it." She exclaimed. I smiled to myself, noticing that she called him dad for once.
I heard the doorbell ring which made me quickly blend my makeup.
"That's my cue to go back to the vampire diaries!!" Nicole waved goodbye; leaving my room.
Theo's pov
I had on a simple beige button up, paired with a thin gold chain. I opened the doorbell to see Tony in a button up as well. Pfft. It was a white cheap looking one though....
I snapped out of my thoughts to welcome him.
He had flowers which kinda made me twitch but I knew he was just being nice. It was taking everything in me to not be jealous. I really want to connect with this guy if he is gonna be my girl's friend or whatever but he was really pushing boundaries.
"I can take the flowers" I said.
"Oh no it's okay. I wanna give them to Diya."
Twitch number two
"hm. Ok. She'll be down soon"
We sat down at the dinner table together but he was looking everywhere except at me. He had the weirdest smile too.
"So do you have a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend ?" I said the last part to see if there was hope that he could be gay.
"No girlfriend yet but I have a feeling that I'll have one soon" he smirked, making eye contact with me. Was that a threat or am I being crazy?
"Hiii Tony! Welcome to my home" my babygirl sang gracefully as she stepped down the stairs. She was glowing when she smiled at him. Tony and I both stood up to greet her arrival at the dinner table.
"Wow you look beautiful baby girl" I confessed. I was practically salivating on the floor.
She blushed as Tony handed her flowers. We all took a seat. I served everyone salad while my Diya spoke to Tony.
"By the way, now might be a good time to tell you that Joseline is coming to join us...."
I gritted my teeth at the announcement.
"Haha you should've told me earlier so I could plan accordingly." I said.
I glanced at Tony who seemed pale at the mention of Joseline's name. I couldn't help but wonder why.
The doorbell rang.
"is it okay if I use your bathroom?" Tony instantly blurted.
I stared him down in silence.
"oh yes! Of course, the downstairs bathroom is just out of the kitchen to the right." Diya encouraged.
I listened to the doorbell ring while staying seated at the table with Diya.
"I'm not getting that. I am not the one who invited Joseline"
"Theo relax. She is literally just here to emotionally support me."
"Oh really then what am I?"
The doorbell rang again.
"fine." Diya stated. I sighed and followed her to the door.
"Oh yeah because it makes sense for both of us to go" she sarcastically said with a straight face.
I opened the door to see Rebecca with flowers.
