Diya's pov
I glanced at the time on my phone because the evening sky and tints practically made everything pitch black out of the car's windows.

6:42pm

It had been a long day and I missed Nik. I sent a text to Nicole to see how everything was going at Ken's house then glanced at Theo. He had an uneasy expression that I couldn't recognize.

"Have we arrived?" I questioned.

"yes darling" Theo expressed, running his fingers through his hair. Before I could question his peculiar body language, he left his seat to go around to my side of the car.

He opened the door to a beautifully laid carpet that was a ballerina pastel pink. Red and Pink roses covered the floor along with strategically placed candles. As soon as I stepped out of the vehicle with the assistance of Athello's extended hand, a soft violin song played.

"Oh my goodness. Athello you shouldn't have" I told him in awe. We were entering the studio through a private back entrance so this beautiful performance was hidden from public view. Athello guided me forward for a bit then stopped in the center of the set up.

He got on one knee making me widen my eyes.

"I thought for so long about how this day would happen. I didn't know when it would but I knew after a week of you, I couldn't get enough. There is beauty in every word that comes out of your mouth even when it's to cuss my name and I was sure of it when I saw you at that resort. Hearing your voice again was like a sweet song that reminded me of the way you dance. The passion in ballet that you have was something that became etched in my brain. Then I finally began to understand one day that you aren't passionate in the things you do....You are a passion in itself that could never be matched. The only thing I can do is pursue you in hopes that I get a bit of that passion everyday by the grace of a god. You are everything holy and unholy Diya. You're the temple I want to worship for the rest of my life. I don't ever want to experience life without my beautiful ballerina. I truly burn for you with desires in every way. So, would you please do me the honor of allowing me to spend the rest of my life with you?"

I bawled into my hands, shaking simultaneously as Theo opened the box. I could tell he was nervous but I couldn't even speak.

"Yes! Yes yes" I cried out cheerfully. He placed the ring on my ring finger, picking me up to crash onto my lips. We kissed passionately while makeup ran down my face, not letting it bother us.

Theo put me down, guiding me to enter the ballet studio.

"SURPRISE" a large group of people screamed in unison. He threw me an engagement party with all of our closest friends.

I saw Gabriela, Sophia, Nicole, Ken, Joseline and sooo many more familiar faces. Everyone I used to work with was there including people from high school. I was snatched away from Theo by my group of girls who were dying to see the ring.

"I MISSED YOU AND IM GONNA KILL YOU FOR LEAVING BUT RIGHT NOW I CANT SO SHOW ME THAT RING" Joseline yelled over the music.

"OHHH yeah we have LOTSSS to discuss after this" Sophia added.

"I know I KNOW" I laughed.

Gabriela was jumping up and down once I flashed them all my engagement ring. It shined beautifully in the dark, making us scream in unison.

"Congratulations babe. If that's the fucking engagement ring- I think we're all gonna die from the wedding ring" Gabriela joked.

"CHEERS TO NOT BEING POOR" Joseline joked, making us all cackle.

Nicole was next to tap me, hugging my lower body tightly.

"congratulations mom! I'm glad we are like family now" she smiled. My heart melted at her new name for me.

"We always were bug. I love you" I told her, kissing her cheek.

I danced the night away with everyone I loved and even reunited with some old friends that Theo rounded up. My fiancé truly did make personal effort to change for the better.

I was so excited to see what the future would bring us.
