I watched Nicole nail a perfect pirouette then end the performance in 5th position which caused everyone to clap. The curtains closed, allowing Ken and I to go meet with Nikki.
I searched the waiting area for her. It was filled with so many familiar faces that brought me joy. Luckily, not mrs.rekkel's.
"Mrs. Almazar! Do you remember me?" I hugged a young girl named Jenna. She was super excited to see me which made me happy. A couple other girls followed her movements by gleefully noticing I was present. After fighting with Athello, I really did need these hugs.
"I remember you all. You all did so wonderful!" They introduced me to their parents then eventually said goodbye.
Nicole finally ran out of a dressing room with her arms open. She jumped on Ken and it led to all 3 of us having a group hug. He placed her down on the ground after a couple of seconds.
I held out a bouquet of flowers for her that matched her beautiful pink outfit. It sort of became a tradition to get her a bouquet that matched her outfit and hide a small chocolate in it for her to eat after her performance.
"You did wonderful and you looked so beautiful!" I stated. Ken nodded in agreement.
"The secret's the bow" she stated laughing. She grabbed the small chocolate, unwrapping it carefully before popping it in her mouth.
"Wanna grab dinner on the way home? We can get mcdonaldssss!"
Nicole jumped up and down happily, almost dropping her bouquet on the ground.

Nicole got into my car while Ken got into his own to follow us. I paused party in the u.s.a by Miley Cyrus while ordering in the drive thru.
"Okay so,
2 French fries
2 bacon quarter pounders with cheese
1 mocha frappe
1 Coca Cola
And 1 cookie ?"
I nodded, handing the employee my credit card.
I know you guys are probably judging me for buying us all this junk food but, Nicole usually followed somewhat of a healthier diet because of ballet. She did it by choice of course but I still try to indulge with her on a night after a performance, to remind her it's okay to eat whatever the fuck you want.
I grabbed our greasy fast food bag and drinks from the worker then sped off to park.
"Turn my song back up!!" Nicole yelled.
I laughed, blasting the music so she could have her own concert in the McDonald's parking lot. I handed her some food in the back then heard my phone vibrate.
It was a wyd :) from Tony
Diya: Mcdonaldsss!
Tony: Sounds delicious- I haven't had some in a while.
Tony: Should we have our date there tomorrow night?
Diya: Date ?
I was enjoying texting Tony and I know that I haven't exactly told Theo that I'm texting him but we are not going on a date. The only reason why I haven't mentioned Theo to him is because I'm sick of everyone assuming I'm living a luxury lifestyle because I'm with a !!ceo!!. They had no idea how lonely it actually was.
Tony- think more like a friendship date haha nothing crazy
For once, it felt good to just be Diya. And to know that someone was there for Diya not for the CEO's girlfriend.
I got startled by a knock on the window. It was Ken trying to be let into my car. He had parked next to us but I hadn't realized. I unlocked the door to let him join our car concert.
"They forgot my damn buffalo sauce" he yelled over the music, once he got into my car.
I busted out laughing with Nicole.
