Sophia waved Theo goodbye from the driver's side. She was terrible at hiding things and lying in general.

"You can drive away now Sophia" I encouraged.

"I know I-I'm just nervous" she said through her teeth.

Athello stood on the porch steps, leaning against the wall as he watched us drive away.

I anxiously set the gps to Tony's house. My palms were sweaty at the fact that I lied to Theo. I don't know why I was so nervous...it's just a small lie that has no real harm behind it. I was starting to feel like Sophia.

"What is making you so nervous soph?" I questioned her as we came to a red light. She was wiggling her fingers on the steering wheel a bit. She stayed quiet then pressed on the gas as the light turned green.

"what if he fires me?" Sophia finally asked.

"Don't be ridiculous babe, he is not gonna fire you. He'll never even know"

Sophia nodded slowly in understanding.

We pulled up to Tony's home which apparently was the complex I use to live. Tony was seated outside on the curb when we drove up. Sophia hopped out to help him in the car while I helplessly watched from the passenger's seat.

"I know this must be so strange. I really appreciate you helping me..."

"Don't worry at all!!" Sophia stated as she helped Tony into the backseat.

"Hey hun, what are you feeling?" I asked as I watched him lay in pain.

"I'm fine. I think I might just have some stomach flu or something. Do you guys have a paper bag?"

Sophia and I looked at each other before I offered him an empty tote bag from the front. Hopefully, he didn't actually puke.

We arrived to the nearby hospital in no time. Sophia helped me transfer Tony into a wheelchair. His aches seemed to hurt him enough for him to hunch over.

My foot felt good enough to wheel Tony so I checked him in while Sophia found parking.

"perfect. Take a seat and you'll be called soon." The receptionist lady informed us. We sat down on the lobby chairs to wait.

".... 2 weeks ago I never would've thought we'd be in a hospital together." Tony stated, rubbing his stomach in pain.

I gave him a small smile. I felt horrible for him but had no clue how to comfort him. Sophia walked in, taking a seat next to us.

"Tony? Right this way please" the nurse called to us softly.
