Theo's pov
Diya was in shock the whole ride home. I finally was able to explain everything in full detail to her which felt like a breathe of fresh air. We were even able to chat with excitement about what the future holds."I can't thank you enough Theo. After everything that's happened... I'm just surprised you still did all this for me"
I reached out for her hand. "Nothing happened. I always knew we'd come back to each other"
Diya smiled at me, kissing my cheek right when the driver parked on our driveway. We left the news set and went home to get dressed for Diya's tour of her new studio.
"It will be a tour of your new place with the building owner. It should only take an hour" I explained.
"Shit, I should go start getting ready now since I won't have much time to dress up" She sprinted out the car with enthusiasm, making me laugh at how cute she was. I gradually followed behind her steps into our substantial home.
I found that she was still by the front door- staring at everything in the house with sadness in her eyes.I slowly closed the front door behind me to announce my presence.
I confess that Rebecca changed up our house more than I appreciated but I just let her do anything that involved leaving me alone.
"It feels different in here" She claimed. She slowly walked up the stairs to our room, cringing when she saw the changes in what used to be our elegantly decorated bedroom.
"Bright orange sheets?" She raised a brow; breaking the sad tension with a chuckle.
We sat on the edge of the bed together, cackling together at the sheets.I watched her continue to take her new surroundings in.
"I've been hating those sheets since she bought them. we can change it all back though I promise" I suggested.
"no... that was just you and Georgina's home. I want to start new. I want everything to feel like our home."
I nodded understanding exactly what she meant. These walls housed too many memories, a lot of them included things I wished to forget.
"why don't we start looking for new houses together?"
"Anything you'd like babydoll"
"Is that something you really want? I mean I don't want to push you and Nicole somewhere you guys don't want to be. This is your home and-"
"Diya, I love you. I want us to work out and if these old floorboards are holding you in our past in any way then we're absolutely moving."
She cupped my face joyfully. "You treat me so well and you're sexy. I'm just winning at life"
I smiled at her beaming face. She happily got up to change, undressing in front of me to put on a short pink dress.
"such a beautiful body" I licked my lips.
"Restrain yourself pleaseeee. I'm dying to see that studio and I refuse to be late- or make that poor driver wait"
I looked at my watch to see if we had time to fuck in every corner of our home. Nope, wasn't enough time in the world.
"You're right princess. Let's head over"
