Diya's pov

"So you live here?" I asked Cece.

"Yes! My family has their own cabins and owns this whole property. We even own a private section of the beach! We're lucky to say the least."

"Wow so why doesn't Elias live here?" I questioned while licking the spoon of ice cream that Cece got me.

"He travels back and forth every couple of months between here and your hometown. I was surprised to hear he brought a girl this time around. He doesn't usually bring girls home to us"

"Nooo it's nothing like that. He is helping me escape my hometown for... a while. I'm just dealing with a lot."

Cece nodded sympathetically.

"He said that too. But I couldn't help but wonder if there was anything between you guys" she said bluntly as we tossed our ice cream wrappers.

"we actually barely know each other. We met through my b- my boss. At an event." I stuttered.

"Who's your boss?"

"Athello H"

"The CEO??? He's like huge wow, you must've been living lavish"

"Something like that... nothing compared to you"

She smiled but shrugged. "Everything monetary goes back into this place so although we're taken care of- We never really get to splurge and I won't get to touch any of my parent's money until they pass."

I nodded.

"That must sound so spoiled huh?" She asked.

"Kinda" I joked. She shoved me playfully as we both laughed.

She made me feel less weird about being driven here while unconscious.

"Hey, are you joining us for swimming this evening? I have some bathing suits you can borrow"

"That would honestly be great" I exclaimed excitedly. I followed her back to her cabin which was decorated more like a home rather than a vacation rental.

"I live with my boyfriend by the way. Just a warning if you see him walking around. I'm not sure where he's at"

We came into her bedroom which was very pastel pink and white. It was super cozy looking.

"That drawer right there is filled with bikinis. Pick what fits!- oh and"
She pulled a phone out of a top drawer. This needs to be charged but it's all yours while you're here and phoneless. I'll be right outside the door if you need me!!"

I thanked her again right before she shut the door.

I slipped into bikini after bikini until I found a green one that was gorgeous. They were all very revealing so thank god I shaved a few days ago.

"I found the one" I told her through the door.

"Yayyyyy- can I come in?"

Cece was munching on a hot dog and her eyes widened once she saw me.

"Wow, you're gorge! I love it. My brother will love it too"

I blushed at her comment regarding Elias.
Him and I were just friends.

"Speaking of, can you please go check on him in his cabin? He's suppose to be helping my parents in an hour but he hasn't replied to anyone's texts. Let him know pleaseee"

I told her okay after grabbing my clothes to leave.
