Diya's pov
I thought about Elias my whole walk. What was I so afraid of? He hasn't rejected me and he's done nothing but be wonderful to me.
I snuck back inside to my room and fell asleep later than usual. Thankfully, everyone was gone and Elias was knocked out.
Once I awoke, I showered and got ready for my morning. I didn't work today but I knew I needed to face Elias. After I finished getting dressed, I joined him for breakfast in the kitchen.
"Good morning" he smiled with a cig in his mouth.
"I'm so sorry about last night Elias." I started off.
"I should have never confused you or even just left. It was kind of childish and I'm sorry. I just needed to understand myself better "
"And? Do you understand?"
I smiled. "I do"
"I want you Diya and please don't pretend like you don't know that." He added.
"I want you too. I have no reason to run away anymore....I have feelings for you..."
I said in one breathe.
He smiled at me, putting his cig out before putting me up on the counter to kiss my face.
"We'll take it slow. A chance is enough to make me happy"
I felt my stomach twist but I wasn't sure why. It didn't feel bad but it didn't feel good either.
We held hands as we ate together.
"My parents announced a beach party tomorrow night. Just like when you first came out here. It's kinda romantic that we're going together now that we're official." Elias told me.
"It is. I'm excited! This time I know more people and I have a bikini that I'm dying to wear"
"Sounds good beautiful. What's your plans today?"
"Uhhh just go into town and explore." I told him. I was going to that new ballet school to be interviewed but didn't feel like explaining.
"Oh. Alone?"
"Yes. Is that alright?"
He nodded as he chewed his eggs.
"Of course- my mom did ask if you could help them out with touring some new guests for an hour today. She said she'll pay extra. It will be around 4pm though"
"I can make that work"
He smiled and kissed my lips softly, catching me off guard.
I got to get used to that.
