Theo's pov
Nicole carried a little backpack as she came out of her room.

"I'm ready to get dropped off... far away" she mumbled.

"Your attitude is getting old you know? It better be gone when you come back little lady"

Nicole furrowed her eyebrows then looked away.

"ok"

"You're killing me here kid" I complained. Nicole was one of the two people who could push my buttons this bad and get away with it.

I opened our front door to see the resort security and a few members of my personal team that were here to walk Nikki to the kids corner for tonight. It was optional and of course I'd prefer for her to be in my care but she refused. I was definitely going to have a long talk with her when we were back home. I kissed her goodbye and she barely looked at me. She just walked away to the crew's golf cart.

Rebecca finally appeared after I closed the front door- revealing the brightest swimsuit I have ever seen.

"I'm ready babe. How do I look?" She made a tada motion but I was honestly just not wowed. All I could think about was potentially seeing Diya tonight. The thought made my heart pulse. I had no idea if she would let me explain or be willing to catch up but I finally had hope.

"looks good. Let's go"

"That's all I get?" Rebecca's smile dropped at my words.

"What else should I say?"

"I don't know. That you LOVE me ? Or that I'm gorgeous? Tell me that I'm your everything. TELL me ANYTHING for fucks sake!" She threw her hands down as she screeched.

"Where the hell is this even coming from? I tell you those things every day" I replied nonchalantly to her breakdown.

"You have NEVER said you love me DONT LIE" Rebecca pushed a vase off the table in anger.

The shattering noise gave me a flashback to months ago.

"Damnit Diya what do you want from me?"

She took another sip nonchalantly.

"Whose plate is that?" She asked softly.

"What?" I questioned.

"I asked- Whose. Plate. Is. That?" She repeated.

"Mine. Who else?" I replied nervously. I had no idea how to explain without giving away the secret.

"There are two plates on the table. Why would you place two plates down if it was just you.... Whose FUCKING plate is that?" She whisper yelled, trying to make sure Nicole didn't wake up.

"I placed another plate down so we could have dinner together since I came home early-"

"BULLSHIT!" Diya threw my glass on the ground. It broke loudly and scattered on the floor.

Flashback ends

Rebecca was shaking a bit as she kneeled in front of the broken glass.

"I'll clean this up and then catch up with you at the party. You can just leave" she said lowly, obviously fighting tears.

I pitied Rebecca in a way because she thought that we stood a chance. As soon as my media consultant said the word- There will be no her and I. I really tried to play the part because she was helping me in a sense but I really needed to figure shit out, especially if my Diya was here.

"I'm sorry" was all I said before walking out the cabin.
