Broken Heart

Sonic had to be reminded that he wasn't going back to school, when he woke up early the next morning, he only pinned his ears down.

"Here Sweetie, this is your new medication for your schizophrenia" Amy said as she handed Sonic two pills, one his antidepressant and the new medication, the blue hedgehog takes the pills with his glass of orange juice.

"B-But I-I still w-want an e-education..." Sonic stutters.

"We know Hun, and we are working on getting you a tutor...right now just relax, call us if you need anything" Rouge said as she gentle kisses Sonic's cheek, Amy nuzzles Sonic's other cheek before the two left to get busy at the diner.

Sonic was left alone in the big apartment, in his pajamas, he heard whimpering from the baby monitor, he got off of the stool and walks to the nursery to pick up Shaundre. The hoglet only squeaks and nuzzles into Sonic's warmth. "L-lets take a b-bath...it's been a-awhile" he tells his son, who only tilted his head in confusion, Sonic grabbed a blue t-shirt with a green dino printed onto it, a pair of shorts and a fresh diaper.

It was normal or rather preferred to bathe a new born hoglet in the sink, since they are so small, but if the parents wishes they can bathe with their newborn it is optional...but it does help with getting the kiton use to being in water...and closer to its parents.

Sonic grabs the little baby bath seat, from the sink, and some towels, he can worry about getting himself dressed when he was done with Shaundre. He clips the baby seat to the bath tub, and starts to undress his son, the hoglet only wiggles around his back as he watched Sonic.

"It should b-be I-Illegal f-for you to be this cute..." Sonic purrs rubbing Shaundre's bare underbelly making the hoglet giggle and purr.

A warm bath is just what Sonic needed, a long with some alone time with his son. Sonic started dressing Shaundre after the bath, the hoglet giggles and purrs when his maternal mother tickling him and rubbing his paws.

Sonic slides on a black and white striped long sleeved t-shirt and a plain white short sleeved t-shirt over the other shirt, and some baggy jeans. He took his son to the play room, so the new born could play with his toys.

Amy waves Blaze and Tikal goodby after giving them the well deserved tips that earned, she looks down at lets out a small sigh.

"How are we going to find a tutor?" Amy finally asked, as she looked over at her wife.

"I've been thinking about that too...I hate to give Vanilla a call since she lives in Green Hill, and I know she is willing to help us" Rouge added she lets out a small sigh before looking down at her communicator, with a G.U.N logo on the back of it. She still works for that organization...even if she is well retired cause of her age and having to help Amy take care of Sonic, but they still own her cause of her services. "Your not gonna like it b-"

"N-no...we have to do it...I know Sonic is so fixated on getting an education...but please, have it be a nice agent" Amy protested.

Rouge nodded getting up and planting a kiss on Amy's forehead before walking to the back to make a call.

Amy sniffs as she clinches her chest, she hated seeing Sonic like the way that he was, her adopted son was so happy when he was little hoglet, and now...so many people broke his spirits.

"It's okay Amy...He'll get better..." She told herself.
