The skies had darkened to a grey color now, and the cloud's rumbles suggested a thunderstorm. We should be out of school by then, though. The door to the classroom slid open and in walked Miss Kimi's worst nightmares. As soon she saw them walk in, she rolled her eyes, groaning and leaving the classroom immediately.

"Heyyyy Y/NNN!!" called Mikey. I smiled, looking up. "Heyyyy." "We've been looking for your ass everywhere, cmon, it's lunch time, stupid," Draken grumbled. "Hello to you too, I guess." Draken rolled his eyes, picking up my lunchbox and throwing it over his shoulder. I told Mikey every detail today with Rindou, who had disappeared somewhere as he always does for lunch. "It's probably just cause your smart and he wants to copy off of you," Mikey stated, glaring daggers at that ground. "But he-"

Draken discreetly flashed a small smile at me, and I understood immediately. Mikeys just jealous.

"Y/NNNNN!!" Senju screamed, running towards me and throwing her arms around me with such force I almost fell over. Mikey pushed my shoulder back up, though. "You said you'd eat lunch with me yesterday," she said, pulling away. Oh yeah. I did. Oops. "Oh sorry, I'll eat with you today," I offered. Mikey grabbed the sleeve of my jacket, pulling me along our original route, "No, you always have lunch with us." "Well, yeah, but-" "Manjiro this is why everyone avoids you-" Senju taunted. "At least I'm not an annoying brat-" "What's your problem" "No, what's your problem, you started this-" "Okay, you guys!" Draken grumbled, pulling Mikey along. Senju walked up to me and whispered, "C'mon, let's go, hurry."

"Huh-" I didn't have enough time to process everything that happened but one minute i was standing there and the next Senju was booking it down the hallway, my hand in hers, dragging me along, while Mikey shouted for her to get back there. She laughed as we came to a stop outside, near one the trees on the school ground. I shook my head, "You guys act like kids." She shrugged, sitting down in the shade.

I followed her action. Her and Mikey have always had a little rivalry. In fact I could still feel eyes on us from the rooftop of the school where we normally ate lunch.

Senju and I talked while we ate and she kept trying to convince me to join Brahman, which i mean the gang was really cool, had snazzy uniforms, and was more sophisticated, but I would never leave Toman. "C'mon, Y/N, imagine it! Brahman's one and only Dragonfly." I giggled at her enthusiasm. "I'm not even all that strong." Which was true. Even though I may hold one the higher positions in Toman, I'm most definitely not the strongest when it comes to raw strength. My technique is really the only reason I can fight well. "Don't even lie, bro. Most areas around here know you. It's like the Haitani brothers. Everyone knows them, but they're not really 'strong', they just have different fighting styles."

"You're not wrong," I mumbled. "You have something on your face." "Oh," I went to grab a napkin at the same as Senju and our hands met. I tried to pull it away, but she kept hers over mine.

I looked up to ask her about it, but forgot everything when I saw that she was staring at me. I hadn't noticed how close she'd gotten either. She stared for a minute or two. A loud rumble of thunder then broke her out of her trance. "I lied," she smiled.

And with that, she got up walked away.

Damn, she's just gonna leave me here?
