Not a lot felt different. Not much at all. Everyone woke up the next day, and everything was the same. Most everything.
Everyone was still in the room. Takemichi was also still there, sitting next to her. It's like they were just picking up exactly where they left off before jumping through time.
Takemichi smiled, "I think we fixed it, Y/N." The two looked over at where Mikey was, talking to Draken and Smiley. He looked happy. He looked like he had just been freed from a burden. Y/N and Takemichi turned back to each other, smiling.
They high fived each other, "We did it!"
"Did what?" Asked Baji, approaching the two. "Nothing!" They both said in unison. Baji gave them a confused look then simply shrugged it off. The doctors allowed them to go home that day as well, since Y/N was feeling much better. The nurse's sighed in relief since they wouldn't have to deal with all the chaos they caused anymore. But, they'd honestly miss the energy as well.
* * * * *
"You guys skipped school!?" I shouted as we walked outside. Everyone had guilty looks on their faces. "Yeah," Baji straight up admitted.
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose, "To stay in the hospital with me, you guys didn't go to school?" They all nodded. "I can't with you guys," I laughed. "Well your all going tomorrow, understand?" "Yes ma'am." They said in unison.
As council president, I was not going to let this slide, but since it was for me and is honestly kind of sweet, I'll let it go. That reminds me, though. We have our school festival coming up. In about a week actually.
And I haven't been at school to help out with it. So, yeah, we're going to have to cram all the decorating and planning into that week. The next day, we all went to school. I made them, and even had to drag Mikey along since he has a habit of skipping.
I had only missed about two school days yet it felt like a month since everyone was coming up to me. "Pres! You're back!" "Hey, Pres, I wanted to ask you about the next semester classes." "L/N! Can you help me with this!" "Pres, where have you been?" "Guys, there's Y/N." "Y/N, do we have to still do the cafe for the festival, or can we change it?" "Pres, we changed the paint on the wall, by the way. It looks much better now." "You should come see our play rehearsal, Pres."
I sighed to myself, continuously adding things to my schedule. Looks like I'll be staying at the school until six today. My council was going crazy too. "Pres, look, can you revise our plans for the week?" Sorla asked. "Y/N, where have you been! We had a meeting yesterday, so Sorla had to fill in, as vice president. She talked about the architecture of ships the whole time, we got nothing done. Can you hold another meeting?" "The festivals in a week! Class 3 still hasn't decided what they're going to do!"
I sighed again. "Okay, you guys! After school today I'll look over everything, and we can all fix it, alright?" They seemed satisfied with that answer and we all headed to class. I sat down, just as the bell rang.
We were just taking notes, so I was paying attention even though it was kind of boring. I could sense Rindou staring at me during class though. I would look over at him sometimes, and he would just stare back. Each time I did that, he was already looking at me.
After class, he came up to me. "Your shoes untied," he pointed out. I looked and it was. "Oh, thanks for letting me know," I said, going to tie it. He beat me to it, and tied it for me himself. I blushed a bit. "Thanks." "No problem. You're doing council work today, right?" He asked. I nodded, "Yeah, I am." "Alright, I'm going with you."
