"C'mon let's go!" "Right now?" I groaned. Sorla was in the council room, sitting next to me and ranting while I tried to finish some of the work. "Yes, right now!"
She told me that she'd organized a blind double date for us. Except, she hadn't told me at all. "I knew you wouldn't want to! But cmon, it'll be fun to just hang out once in a while. And who knows, you might like him." I rolled my eyes, "I doubt that I'll have fun with a complete stranger." "But you'll be with me and my date too! C'mon, let's go to my house and get ready."
Before I could decline her offer, she grabbed my hand, leading me out of the council room. We left the school and she led me into her house. We went into her room and she had me sit down while she rummaged through her closet, holding up random items of clothing up to me.
She held up a yellow shirt with some black shorts. "Hmmm...no." She pulled out a short floral dress. "Nope." She got a pair of jeans and a cute top. "Ehhh..too basic." An overall dress. "Hmm..cute but it doesn't bring out your eyes." She held up a neon shirt. "Yeah, no." Sorla gasped as she grabbed the next item, and showed me. "This! This is it! It'll look perfect on you! Try it on!" I put it on. It was a pair of black shorts with a cute top. It seemed a bit basic for the occasion, but I don't know where we're going and I trust her decision.
I walked out after changing into it. She gasped, "Oh my! Gosh, forget about your date, date me instead!"
I giggled, and she changed into her outfit, which was also pair of shorts and a floral top. "Where are we going by the way?" I asked as she did my hair and makeup. "To an amusement park." I didn't even get time to take a break or anything, since we left as soon as we were ready.
We met up with our dates there. Mine was a tall guy with brown hair. He was nice, I guess, but he was just super dry. Like he had no personality. I'd ask him things to continue a conversation and he would just answer with a word or two.
I gave up after a while and we just went everywhere in awkward silence. Not gonna lie, I was super bored. I love amusement parks, but it's not fun when you go with someone like this.
I sighed, sitting down on a bench while he went to get ice cream. I leaned my head back, staring at the clouds in the bright blue sky. "You seem bored, not gonna lie," said a sudden voice. I turned my head to see Koko, sitting down next to me on the bench. "Oh hey. What're you doing here?" "Nothing. Some of the Black Dragon members decided to hang out here. I got bored, since Inui stayed at home."
I shrugged, "Well, reasonable." "What about you? What're you doing here?" he asked. I sighed, "I went on a blind date. He's really boring, not gonna lie." Koko scoffed, standing up and offering me his hand. "Then come with me. I'm better anyways. You won't get bored."
I smile and took his hand. "What?" "It reminds me of the first time we met. It was a similar situation. Like an indirect date." He thought about something while then said, "Why don't we make it an actual one for today?" "What-" "C'mon let's go!" He pulled me along, not explaining further.
We hung out for a while, playing games and going on the rides. We walked towards the ferris wheel, and I saw my 'date' standing there with his friend.
He looked over at me and started walking towards us. He didn't notice Koko standing behind me, arms crossed. "I've been looking for you. Let's go on the ferris wheel," he shrugged.
Koko put his arm around my waist and leaned his chin on my head. "Sorry, you seem a bit confused. This is my girlfriend. Not your date."
"But we-" Koko pulled me away and headed towards the ferris wheel. I looked back and saw my date just standing there, watching us walk away. "Koko, that's kind of mean." He scoffed, "I don't care. He wasted your time." I smiled softly at his reason.
After a few hours, Koko dropped me off later after our second indirect date. I walked into my room, and set my bag on the table. I jumped when I turned on the lights and saw Senju sitting on my bed, eating a bag of chips and wearing my sweater.
"Senju?" "Oh, hey Y/N. I was wondering where you were." I decided not to question how she got in here and started telling her everything that happened today.
"..he leaves me more and more confused every time we hang out. Is he trying to drop hints? Or does he really just wanna be friends? I think he likes me like a friend. If he wants to be more than friends then he would say something and not just drop hints. But maybe he's too nervous to tell me. But Koko doesn't seem like the nervous type so he's probably just a friend," I ranted.
"Honestly you're probably just overthinking it. If it were me, I'd totally have a crush on you. You're so fine," Senju smirked.
I sighed and buried my face into my pillow, groaning. I looked up when I heard my phone buzz. It was a text from Mitsuya. I gasp and sit up, looking over at the calendar. Prom was about two weeks away. I grabbed my phone and Senjus arm and we headed outside, starting my motorcycle.
I was supposed to go to Mitsuya's place to see the dress. We raced through the road, going at the same speed me and Baji usually race at. We got there in like ten minutes and headed inside. "Y/N why are we here?" Senju asked since I forgot to explain everything. I rushed into his house, and headed upstairs. "I need to get my measurements for the dress." "Oh, yeah!"
"Hey, Y/N," said Luna, one of his sisters. I smiled warmly and waved to her. "Y/N!" Mana called, tackling me into a hug. Mitsuya showed up and chuckled at the sight before pulling me away and into his room. Senju followed us, inspecting all the materials and clothing. "Woah, these are so cool," she commented. "Right," I smiled at her as Mitsuya made me stand still and began wrapping a measurement tape around my arm.
He clicked his pen and wrote down the number and began wrapping it around my shoulder. "Wait isn't this that one dress from this show," Senju pointed out. Mitsuya stayed focused but still answered, "Yep, that was the inspo." "That's so good. This ones such a nice color." "Woah, it's so pretty." She made little comments as she walked around the room, looking at all his works.
I didn't realize how close he was until he wrapped the measuring tape around my waist, and I could brush my shoulder against his chest. This just got a bit intense. Senju ran up to us, "Let me see her dress!"
"She hasn't seen it yet, either. I'll show you in a bit when I adjust it." I smiled, "I can't wait. You need to show me!" "I'll show you in just a bit," he replied, also smiling and set the paper down and began working on a piece.
He wouldn't let us see it though, and Senju would try to peer over his shoulder. Eventually he pushed us outside and made us wait until he finished to come back in. And the wait was totally worth it.
We walked back in and gasped as he held up the dress. "Here, you can go try it on in the closet." I walked into his closet with it and put it on. Mitsuya knew me well since he made the material comfortable, knowing I was a bit picky. It was the color that suited my features best since he had tried a color matching thing on me last week to pick it out. It fit well, and it was the perfect amount of flowy. (Pretend it described your dream dress.)
I walked out and Senju clapped, "Woah! You look so stunning!" She turned to Mitsuya, "Good job." "Do you like it?" He asked me. "I love it!"
